It gets in the way

For most scuba divers this is of limited use, as the instructions on the package say:"Do not use this product in kelp forests, swimthroughs, coral reefs, overhead environments or other divers."That pretty limits its use to diving by yourself in a swimming pool. I am returning.

One would think using this would be obvious but no written instructions come with the box. I was not able to extend it beyond 3 feet, despite the 6 feet claim. But worse, I can't get it back to its original compact size and the tightening mechanism doesn't seem to work so it slides out and back on its own. Very disappointed given how much I paid for it.

We tried these out for a documentary series. It took a little getting used to as a follow cam, but they worked great. No problem extending the full length like the other review said.The best thing with these is when they're being handheld and you can get shots in places you can't go or get close-up shots of fish before they take off. Of course, be respectful to the fish.With the floaties and the tether, it follows along without an issue. It does bob and tilt a little, especially if you have current. And don't go through any caves with it.If you're using the Paralenz camera, this is definitely worth getting.
