Great quality!
Great as always! Smooth, easy to install, and an all-time favorite art product of mine.

Best ink in my opinion.
This ink is fade , water and alcohol (Copic or any marker) resistant. It's also a dark black. Not as dark as Dr. Ph. Martin's Black Star India Ink. But trying to find other inks the match up to this is kind of impossible. Not even Platinum Carbone Ink(it's not fade resistant but water and alcohol resistant) can match up. Yes it's not a bottle of ink which will save you more money BUT it's a great Investment.

Pentel Brush Pen for life!!!
How can you ever go wrong with these refills? From my personal favorite pen & ink company. Always quality products, although I only use 5-6 of their products, they've all been on target.Price is always good & not so high you want to buy the knockoff inks available. Get this, it's quality, from a long standing company who is tops in the game.Pentel Brush Pen for life!!!

Great Price
Really high quality, high quantity, and GREAT price if you use a pentel pocket brush pen and live somewhere that charges this price for only 4 cartridges. $8-$9. Haven't seen it drop past 7.50 if I'm remembering correctly.

Great cheap pen, expensive Ink
The -Pentel Pocket Brush Pen- is great and sells at a good price. I have been using mine for 4 years without it losing its shape or spring. I can still make thin, sharp, consistent strokes just as nice as the first day I got it. Many of my friends use it: artists, illustrators, and designes to sketch, draw, ink their comics, or just for Chinese calligraphy. GreatHOWEVERPentel's model here is similar to printer makers, where you don't pay much for the printer (pen), but end up spending a lot on the ink. It adds up quickly.I have tried other inks and adaptors, but nothing has given me good results. I wish these cartridges could be bought in much larger quantities, or were cheaper as I can go through one cartridge in a day of medium-heavy sketching. This of course will vary greatly from person to person, but it's worth considering that you'll be spending several times the cost of the pen.The ink is nice, it covers well and it's dark enough even on my brown paper sketchbooks. I like it much better than Kuretake's brush pen, which looks blue-green rather than black and it feels watered down. It's also not as strong as other calligraphy inks that overpower the page.So far price has been my only complaint, but it's the best option available today so I still buy it.If you're buying these extra cartridges you probably already knew all I just wrote, but I still hope my review can help anyone who's new and considering trying a brush pen.

The pocket brush is so wonderful
My review is really about the Pocket Brush, which is a minor miracle when sketching.I do wish the ink didn't have to "cure" for a while before getting wetted with watercolor, but since I know how it works I can accept it.

Perfecto
The ink cartridges and the brush pen are just delightful. I love watching black ink on white paper. It’s just a thing with me.Only draw back is I go through then so fast.
