RUSK Engineering Heat Freak 1 Inch Curling Iron

Heats fast, easy to use, gorgeous silky hair. I have thick coarse frizzy color damaged hair but when I use this, my hair shines and feels like silk :) Muche easier than the wand and heat glove, though I like those too. Those give more of a wave, like if you braid your hair and take it out. These Rusk curling irons give more perfect ringlet type curls, though you can also alternate the direction and leave them in for less time to get a more beachy wave. It only takes a second or so per curl -- really fast. But remember to turn it off or the barrel gets ruined.

Like other reviewers have said, it does heat up quickly and curls nicely. However, like another reviewer said, be careful!! it does get very hot even on lower settings. Found out when I burnt the side of my face when it just hit for a split second.

I love the style of this iron, but even though it is at the same temp as my other iron (Hot Tools gold), it makes my hair smell like it is burnt. It does seem like a high quality, well made iron so hopefully that smell will resolve. I've turned it down a bit, but now it takes longer to curl.

Perfect Iron for my extensions i wear & even on my short natural hair. I always use love temperature when using heat tools . I really love this Iron & love the brand . It came in the box . I just wish it had little velcro so i don't wound the cord around and around thats how electrical problems happen .

Awesome curling iron! I am a hair stylist and could not find this iron in any of my supplie stores. Heats up quickly!

Stupidly I didn't think about the adaptor as it came with a two pin plug. I'm yet to use them properly

Out of all the curling irons I have had this by far is the best! I love Rusk brand! I have Rusk straightner and love it too. The price is a little more than other brands but worth it cuz this brand last a long time!

dail goes up to 300...go figure...doesnt heat to 450 like the product summary. i did not like it, no heat
