This credit card sized is perfect for on the go people or those that enjoy small purses or not carrying a ton of things in a purse. Laurel Burch's artwork is a beautiful cover for this very cute, mini notebook.

High quality journals at a reasonable price are hard to find. The "Laurel Burch" blank journals by paperblanks are not only absolutely gorgeous with rich colors and designs, but they hold up beautifully. Though the page size may seem too small for a daily journal writer, the quality of the paper allows for writing front and back in ink, with no ink bleeding through. The pocket in the inside of the back cover is a great bonus for storing a few notes or articles.Only complaint is that the elastic band that stretches to wrap around the journal snapped...but I confess I had two ink pens inside the journal when I tried to close it with the elastic.FIVE STARS. I can't imagine ever using a different kind of journal in the future.Btw, this would be a beautiful gift for any female.

These are great for kids who love butterflys. Add one of those wind up flying butterflyers I found at butterflyers.com and put it inside so when the person opens up the journal, the butterflyer will come flying out for an awesome surprise!

I chose this as a gift for a friend who has lovely handwriting and keeps good records, notes of her life. She has recently moved home, so I imagine this may be useful to record sizes of rooms, work done, etc in her new home.The colours are so bright and sparkling, the butterflies as beautiful as can be, the shimmering effect of the metallic colours is gorgeous. Paperblanks hardback notebooks/journals are my favourites; they are made to last a lifetime or longer. There is a handy wallet section inside for tucking away mementos, tickets, receipts, and a ribbon marker.Using a book of this quality is a pleasurable experience, it is a calming, valuable, impressive item to own Perhaps keeping it in a handbag, or on a desk. I would always be delighted to receive one, so it is as it should be - always give a present you would like yourself!
