Q: How many are in this package? Description says 48 per sheet, 2 sheets. that comes up to 96, but the title says 240.

It came with the 5 sheets as pictured, but each separates into a ring and a small circle, so technically it's 240 pieces. The small circles do actually come in handy. I used them on a 2 1/2 inch tumbler template and in between the rings on larger templates for more grip.

Q: How many non slip grippers are there? States 240 pieces in the main title/heading, but in the "Product Description" it states 96.?.?.?

I believe they are setup as 120 large circles and 120 small circles on the inner part of the large ones. If you look at the photos on these. Unless yours came as one peice.

Q: Is the adhesive double sided or only on one side and the other is just silicone?

One side is adhesive to stick to your quilting ruler and the other side is the silicone grip part. I also use the inner circles on smaller rulers and templates.
