Excellent juicer which is fairly compact and it leaves pulp dry. It's not a masticating juicer, so it does oxidize the juice. However, I've found that for fruit juicing, a centrifugal juicer is much better than a masticating juicer. Especially when juicing Apples, as you don't need to remove the seeds or cut up the fruit to insert into the chute. Instead you just drop the whole fruit into the chute.Interestingly, when my juicer arrived, the box stated 900W power on the box and not 700W as advertised. Not sure why, because it's definitely the 1868/81 model that I ordered.Being able to funnel water through the juicer to help clean it is definitely a bonus. It doesn't quite remove everything and you still need to give the parts a clean. However, it's much less hassle than other juicers I've owned previously. It's not quite the Easy Clean it advertises to be, but it's certainly an Easier Clean.

An excellent product, seems to work very well and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to clean. Of course some slight scrubbing on the metal blade is necessary but I can clean the whole thing in less than two minutes by hand and from time to time put it in the dishwasher for a thorough deep clean. I bought it on offer for £75 but even at £150 I think it is well worth it.

After using this juicer for a while it's safe to say it has proven value for money. It does not retain smells, and as juicers go, its pretty easy to clean - you simply pour in a glass of water to rinse the juicer in line with the instructions, and then wash it along with your normal dishes. The juicer is extremely effective and produces very good results. The swappable nozzles help to prevent drips that have plagued previous juicers we've had. The compact form factor also means it is easy to pack away, however it also doesn't look unsightly on the worktops.The reason for knocking off a star is that the clear plastic has started to become foggy, despite care taken when washing and not washing inside a dish washer. Purely aesthetic.

Excellent juicer - it smashes everything to bits but be careful if the pulps full up it starts to go into your juice always throw excess pulp before using it keep a look out for the pulp level. I would highly recommand this best method to drink your 5 a day. its powerful and easy to use. best invest ive made for 2016 - after gp infomed me of high colestrol levels I brought this to drink veg and fruit. This is the best way to do it price is excellent. cleaning does take time but the enjoyment of making your own drinks and experimenting makes it worthwhile. hurry and buy it before it goescomes with two year guarentee

maybe i have a faulty one but when juicing there is still small lumps of fruit in the juice, before this juicer I had a cheap one off ebay which always juiced smoothe juice. going to return this one and get something else.

Juicer was great while it worked. We got it just over a month ago and have used it almost every day but it stopped working after 1 month and 4 days . Amazon returns are only valid for a month even if the item is faulty! If I had bought from Tesco, I could still return it for up to a year! Not impressedFurther to the above, I did some research on the Phillips website and found that there is a cut off switch underneath the juicer - on pressing this button, it worked again! However, we do have problems now juicing carrots and beetroot. They seem to get stuck at the bottom of the feeder tube then juice starts spraying out from between the top and bottom halves, in spite of them being secured down with the handle. We have to make sure we start the juicer then hold the top down very tightly before pushing the fruit and veg down. Phillips online were very helpful but it still isn't ideal

I wish there was a choice to give zero star, thats how bad this juicer is.Well if its your first juicer then you probably dont know what juicer is supposed to do.I would call it a blender not juicer.As i wanted ti start GAPS diet i thought i buy a juicer to juice fruit and veg.I fisrt bought another juicer from ebay VonShef Professional 990W Whole Fruit Vegetable Juicer which was only priced £33 including postage.It had wonderful juices from carrots, apple, oranges, clear juice without any chunks of fruit pulp.Unfortunately it came with a cracked jug and i returned it.Meanwhile i was looking on amazon and i saw philips juicer for £80 so i decided to go with this due to nice shape.What a mistake, its a shame philips will make such a crap.i own few things by philips and quality is very high.Well the juicer looked very pretty unlike the vonchef one but what a bad performance.I made juice of few apples and oranges, what a mess, it is clearly not juice.when i tried to strain it, it blocked the strainer and will not pass through its hole.this is the difference between this and my vonchef juicer which i returned earlier.Dont be fooled by positive reviews, its probably their first juicer so they dont know.I am returning this item and buying the vonchef again.

Delighted so far. This is 7th make/model (6 have broken so far...) The quick clean water function is fantastic, convenient between recipes. The two speed motor is also excellent getting juice from harder veg. Had it for weeks, use it daily, still just like new!!!Only downsides are small bits of fruit or veg in the juice, feed tube lets juice flow back up the plunger sometimes (just for info, not a problem to me).Way better than all the rest
