Good highlights, annoying organization
This guide has great tips and is easy to read. The problem is finding what you want. For example, if you're looking for things to do in Geyser Country at Yellowstone, you have to look at several sections 20 or so pages apart, because one area has hotels, another area has activities, another day hikes, and a separate one has overnight hikes. Why can't everything in Geyser Country be all together in succession, instead of spread throughout the book? Became very cumbersome to use while in the park.

Double check the hikes!
We did a few hikes that were recommended in this book in both Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. One, in particular, said a 6 mile loop, but it was closer to 10 miles. That makes a difference in preparedness as a family hike. Also, we ran into irate bison a couple times which wasn't mentioned, though obviously went through their home terrain for miles. The hikes often are very hard to follow, so I got an app to help navigate trails which was 100% better. While this guide was great in planning the areas to visit, I wouldn't rely on it solely, and definitely just use the hikes as suggestions for where the trailheads start. This is probably best suited for people just driving the parks. Also, out of the 3 campgrounds we stayed at, the one called a "scar" in the book was our favorite.

No coverage in the park.
My millennial sons laughed at me for buying a travel book for Yellowstone. I got the last laugh... Little to no WiFi or cell coverage in the park, we used it every day 😊

Great guide.
I love that it has a guide for both National Parks since they are so close together and you would likely visit both in the same trip.

Decepcionante
Una guÃa muy simple que apenas cuenta nada del parque, a pesar de ser voluminosa
