I use Peppermint or Eucalyptus oil on the lava beads. They hold the scent for a long time. I just move my arm and I have instant aromatherapy. My first set my boyfriend got it for us when we were long distance it lasted for a good 3 months and then broke; the string that holds everything together broke and it went everywhere. Then his also broke so I decided to get us another set because I loved how they looked and I didn't feel the same without it. Then those broke as well... we aren't long distance anymore so I won't bother getting a new set but they are beautiful.. just don't last.
