Dash Fresh Pop Popcorn Maker

The technology for air popcorn poppers has greatly improved and this machine makes popping corn a breeze with easy clean-up. The popped corn is not dry and is very flavorful. The machine operates as described and does not take up much room on the counter or in storage. Just add the popcorn and you quickly have a delightful snack. I enjoy the smell of popcorn almost as much as eating it. Great value and the color of the machine can add a pop of color to your counter top.

EXCELLENT! Used the smaller portion for measurement and it is more enough popcorn for 2 adults. This Air Popped popcorn is very tasty and a lot healthier than the packaged can you buy. Very few un-popped kernels left. Quick and Easy to Use. Easy to clean. We melted the butter in the microwave for ease of use - rather than the top container as suggested - we think could get messy. Great Snacking Treat! And, fun to watch! *NOTE: use a large enough bowl to Catch the popcorn.

I purchased this popcorn maker on a whim and I have now used it multiple times. It is really easy to use and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. You just add the kernels, turn it on and it pops quickly (2-3 minutes) with very few unpopped ones. I like that it doesn’t use oil in the machine as it doesn’t require a bunch of clean up. It’s also small enough to leave out or store without taking up much space. The only downside is the butter tray doesn’t actually melt the butter very well — it mostly just softens it, so I still melt butter separately. That part is a bit disappointing as the butter melting ability was one of the draws I had to this machine. Other than that, it’s been reliable and great for quick popcorn at home. Side note, I highly recommend using butter flavored coconut oil as a butter alternative as well. It tastes great and helps give that movie theater butter taste. Just don’t forget to add a little salt too. Yum!

This is a popcorn making monster. The commercial style delivery of the popcorn dictates The Vessel used to catch it. 1 scoop of popcorn makes over 2 gallons of popped popcorn. A regular size bowl is not going to be adequate. I use a 2 1/2 gallon stainless steel milk bucket with bale handle. It's high, with the handle I can angle it over and I catch pretty much 100% of the popcorn. Machine Works fantastic, the only complaints I hear about it is that it works too good. Two and a half gallons of popped popcorn or not going to fit in any average bowl that I know of.

We love it so far! Almost all the kernels get popped with no burning. Easy to clean up. Makes healthy less oil popcorn than our stovetop one did. Fast and easy to use!

In 2019 I bought a Hamilton Beach 18 Cup Hot Air Popcorn Popper 73400 at a big-box store, and it was so loud I actually plugged my ears at times when using it. It was so annoying that I even started popping corn on the stove with oil to avoid using it. Fast-forward to 2025, and I picked up the Dash Fresh Pop Popcorn Maker on a Black Friday deal. To my delight, it was significantly quieter than the old Hamilton Beach model. Not silent by any means, but a huge relief. The popper is a shade smaller than my old model, but sets up nicely. The clear plastic top has a textured edge at the tip to ensure proper seating, and prevent slipping off. The cup at the top ensures the correct amount is used. It warms quickly and fills your bowl within a few minutes. The power button is a nice touch, something my old model did not have. There are reviews that complain about unpopped kernels remaining. I see what they mean, but honestly I don't think it was more than my old model. The difference was that my old model would fling them into the bowl of finished popcorn instead of leaving them in the bottom of the heating element. Maybe it has to do with the amount of fan pressure blowing out. In my experience, after turning off the popper, those unpopped kernels would pop when sitting on the hot metal at the bottom anyway. For me it wasn't an issue at all. The popcorn tastes great. It isn't overly crispy or burnt tasting, which can happen when poppers take too long to get hot and roast the kernels before they start to pop. The popper wipes down easily, and its small(er) size allows it to be stored out of the way in a cabinet. I can't speak to the long-term quality and durability, but if something happens I guess I will revise this review.

Don't believe the hype, The hot air blows about 10% of the kernels un-popped out of the popper with enough force to land all over the kitchen. The popped kernels come out and in the vicinity of the receiving bowl, but the design doesn't guarantee that they will land in the bowl so they spill out somewhere close, but only occasionally "in". The top design doesn't direct the popped kernels into a receiving bowl, no matter where you place that bowl. On the good side, the popcorn never gets burned, tastes great, and you do get fresh popcorn in about 3 minutes. The butter holder is useless, the butter usually isn't melted by the time the popcorn is done and you can't remove it to pour over popcorn until the maker is turned off, which means only the top layer of popcorn gets adequately buttered.

This is very cool, it make the popcorns ready in 2 mins. Good thing no Oil needed just hot air. Smells great when the popcorns are ready.

Burning motor smell when turned on, tried several times so not a “new product smell”.

اشتريت هذه الماكينة وشحنتها إلى السعودية. للأسف من أول استخدام الجهاز اشتعل بالنار! أطفأته وانتظرت فترة ليبرد ثم حاولت تشغيله مرة أخرى وكانت النتيجة نفسها — اشتعال مباشر. المنتج غير آمن وخطير جدًا للاستخدام. لا أنصح بشرائه نهائيًا. للأسف اكتشفت المشكلة بعد انتهاء فترة الاسترجاع.

Excelente compra Se necesita un bowl grande porque salen volando las palomitas y se pueden llegar a caer pero he notado que mientras más maíz uses (siempre cuidando de no pasar la cantidad máxima) esto pasa menos Actualización casi 3 años después, si te gustan las palomitas es la mejor inversión que puedes hacer, la uso mucho, no me ha dado problemas, hay que tener los cuidados de limpieza y todo pero no es nada difícil de mantener en buen estado
