Lovely bag, soft leather. I especially like the way it zips up and folds 'north to south' rather than 'east to west' as there is less likelihood of possessions falling out if you inadvertently forget to zip up. I like the back zip compartment to house my credit cards, they just fit, although the zip is vertical down the middle of the back of the bag the pocket is only to one side. There is another make of bag that does these pockets better (and the front pocket too) but it is not as stylish. I especially like the handles but feel the straps could do with being more substantial. Inside is big enough to carry my essentials: sunglasses; reading glasses; purse; pocket size tissues; car keys; hair brush; make-up. Stylish item, I don't look as if I'm about to set off on a hiking trip.

I have two of these backpacks and the leather is beautifully soft, yet durable. A convenient size, for daily use, but good for casual evenings out, as it can be carried as a handbag. The zipped straps make it secure, whether you use one strap or both and it is extremely comfortable.

Handbag Bliss has such a wonderful range of good quality and practical bags, with many different styles and available in a wide range of colours. And black is always so stylish and versatile. I'm very happy with the five bags I have, and with all the positive comments that people make about them.

Fast delivery as I wanted to take it on holiday. Lovely soft leather and gets softer with every day use. Like all the separate compartments to store individual items. Colour is gorgeous as I have been looking for a grey page for ages. The only little disadvantage is the inside pocket for the mobile phone. I've got the iPhone 7plus, so it won't fit. Otherwise is a lovely bag and I am really happy with it.

I read other reviews before buying and was more than delighted when my handbag came. Fabulous colour (teal) and so soft with good quality lining. It’s not a bag to stuff full of heavy things, it would spoil the look, but a mini iPad or kindle would fit in. Love the fact there are lots of lovely colours to choose from.

I have just received my first purchase from this company via Amazon.You will be pleased to know I am delighted with my navy & tan rucksack.I searched for this bag after seeing an acquaintance in the street and stopping her to say that the bag was just what I was looking for. She purchased hers in York (too far away) so my internet search began.My only dilemma was that I also loved the bag so much I am tempted to buy the black too! Lovely personal touch of their business card with my name handwritten on it. I don’t normally write reviews so this must be good.

This is a very comfortable bag, slightly smaller than my older bag but big enough to hold all I need, including purse, phone ,makeup, diary , comb,large bunch of keys, hand gel, hand cream 4 x reusable shopping bags, hairspray, tissues etc . My only gripe is the attachment to the zip. It is very unobtrusive- good- but being small and long it gets caught at the bottom of the zip reveal making it hard to find and grab and therefore difficult to pull the zip up- frustrating.

Being totally honest, when I received this bag, I was disappointed and intended to send it back. I put it to one side, life got in the way and I missed the return date. The bag does have a lot of the features that I was looking for: it has the triangular shape, the loop at the top, and the strap that is divided by the zip, but more on that later. It has a central pocket that is lined in brown, and two outer pockets that are lined in beige, so you know instantly if you’re in the wrong pocket. The leather is lovely and soft, and does have a quality feel to it. The hardware is silver, and appears to be reasonably sturdy. The central compartment zip runs from side to side, so it’s easy to open the bag when you want to, but very difficult, if not impossible for thieves. The zips generally do run smoothly, but the central zip can snag slightly in the middle at the bit where the sides fold in.Now, onto the bits that are not so good. It's not as roomy as it appears to be, as the top third of the bag is flat when it is being carried, due to the way it zips up, so you have to bear that in mind and not over fill it. The strap is literally a zip, with leather strips sewn onto the upper fabric edges, and not the back. You can even see the teeth of the zip going around the hardware and through the metal buckles. It feels and looks cheap and nasty, and certainly not what you would expect on a bag that cost over £60. The images show and advertise detachable claw clips (one of my main reasons for buying this bag), but my bag doesn’t have them, and I can't help but think that these are going to be weak areas. They also make reference to a leather phone pocket, which my bag doesn’t have either.I had high hopes that this would be my dream bag that I could buy in a multitude of colours, and would be my go-to bags forever, but sadly I'm stuck with this one and the search goes on.
