Best power shower pump ever
This pump has to be the best one I’ve had fitted very little noise just a humming noise all the other pumps I’ve had have vibrated and rattled and they were a well known brand this pump was cheaper and a lot better my regret was I never had one of these fitted before I would defiantly recommend this pump to any one and so easy to fit

Lasted 6 months
The pump arrived promptly and was easy to install. Worked well, but when running for longer periods (Over 5 minutes) would leak a bit. I put a plastic container under the pump to catch the drips and continued to use it, hoping that the leak would go away. It didn't. I took the pump out, and upon inspection, discovered that the Allen-key screws holding the side-housing on, were not tightened properly. I tightened the screws and re-installed the pump. The leak was gone, but then reappeared on the other side of the pump some weeks later. Observing the pump revealed that the (plastic)impeller-housing was bulging under the pressure when the pump was running. I am not sure this was connected to the leak, but it looked alarming. I took the pump out and removed the leaking impeller-housing. After shaving down some slightly rough bits on the casting and inspecting the O-ring seal, I reassembled the pump. Still leaking. Worked OK though, I just had to bail-out the catch-tank every couple of weeks. After roughly 5 months of serving one en-suite bathroom (so NOT particularly high usage), the pump became very noisy and then seized up. I suspect the bearings have gone. I know this pump was cheap, but I expected more.

Don't buy this pump
I have now had to return a second pump within a month as BOTH pumps leaked from the main body of the pump (NOT any joins my plumber had made). This is the same fault on BOTH pumps so is clearly an issue. Save yourself the time and effort not to suffer the same damage caused by leaking water and buy a different pump. I have replaced with a Stuart Turner pump which is excellent (so far!!)

Failed within 12 months
I bought this pump to replace a higher performance equivalent that had failed days outside of warranty from the same manufacturer. Turns out my warranty would've been void anyway because the goon that installed it had bent the anti-vibration pipes and never registered the warranty...Anyway, I fixed the plumbing so that the new pump's anti-vibration tubing was straight and it was much quieter than the bigger equivalent that it replaced. Happy with the pressure and performance of the pump while it was functional; however, it has recently stopped working within 12 months of purchase. Have gone through the limited amount of troubleshooting advice there is online and left with no option but to replace.I have contacted the seller and await a response; will update review based on that response...

A near drop-in replacement for a four-year-old CT50P
Straightforward swap over for this pre-wired little pump. Much quieter than the previous model. The flexi tails this one came with did not have isolation valves built in like the previous ones did. But at £110 this pump is competitively priced.

Disappointed!
As a tradesman I fitted this pump for a customer…Only lasted 6 weeks… broke down!Salamander eventually send out one of their so called engineers that was full of invalid excuses blaming the hot water being to hot (British gas è genera dismissed compleatly) and one feed pipe running down slightly vertically… the old pump was exactly the same pump was the new one and ben running fine for the last 8 years…Only offered part re-fund…disappointed!
