Really solid, beautifully built
My first thought on opening the package was that these push up bars are gorgeous in comparison to the rubbery plastic things I've used in the past. They are made entirely from steel and wood so they just scream quality. I was a bit sceptical, before receiving them, that the bases might not be as stable as the circular base versions available from other companies but these are so planted and solid that they might as well be screwed to the ground. I'd happily do handstand push-ups on them. They're a great height to give push-ups a full range of motion and I definitely prefer them to having my hands on the floor. Construction is a single piece of steel with a single wooden handle screwed from both ends. Minimal and with very little to go wrong. There are small, circular grips on the base that do a very good job of stopping it moving. They're textured so they hang onto the floor very effectively. I took them to my friend's gym and left them with him for a week. He used them with his PT clients and gave the following feedback points: > Very solid, built to last > Look pro, fit in well with top quality gym kit > Handles have a large profile that fits large hands better than small hands. Some female clients felt that they would prefer to be able to grip the handle all of the way around rather than resting on / partly around it. Not unsafe but took some getting used to > Wooden handle doesn't appear to be treated. Concern that it might absorb sweat over time and become unhygienic. > Very stable and safe > Heavy enough to be used for Renegade Rowa in place of dumbbells I'm keeping a close eye on the wood and I'll treat it with wood preserver at the first sign of staining. I think it would be a good idea for the company to treat it with something to avoid any degradation, given the premium pricing of the product. Love these things, they've had the thumbs up for personal use and for use in a commercial gym. They are, without a doubt, the best bars I've ever used. You won't be disappointed!

Great bit of kit
I had the old style plastic & not so good metal pushup bars. These are excellent. Great quality feel & substantial too. The wooden handles are quite big but comfortable to use. They are sturdy & steady when doing wide grip/stance push ups. They do not rock & roll like my old ones. Yes they are quite expensive, but, as always, they are worth the price in my opinion. Other people might disagree. Overall, great product to use & you can tell the difference after using them. Would recommend them.

Solid, feels great
Solid, feels great. The wooden handles feel great compared to foam handles of previous push up bars I had. No movement when doing push ups, and the large grip feels good. Perhaps a little bit pricey, but the quality and feel of these are worth it.

Wooden Grips are solid and good for standard push up exercises
Wooden Grips are solid and good for standard push up exercises. Expensive to buy but solid and practical push up bars. I want to buy the other two more advanced versions for variety as well.

Investment piece
Not cheap but these are very nicely made pieces of kit that feel like they will last a lifetime. Feel like a real investment piece. Look great too. So much better than doing press ups on your bare hands as well.

Works very well at reducing strain on the wrists
I bought the push up bars to protect my right wrist after a minor injury which made the conventional push up position painful. They worked a treat and also allow me to vary the types of push ups. Great product beautifully made.

Overall great product.
my friend recommended these to me, I can see why. -these are designed for medium to large hands. -felt very sturdy. -they did slide on the floor because of the rubber bottom on each corner. -felt well rounded and easy to grip. -would recommend it to people.
