Will this work for coffee? Will the hot beverage melt the straws? Will a a standard to-go cup fit?

I'm picturing some dummy trying to wear this with HOT coffee in it and can't stop laughing. Holy %$%^. This is why we can't have nice things.

If there is any setup necessary the instructions would be available in box or from the manufacturer.
