Amba J-D004 B Swivel Jack 22-Inch x 21-Inch Towel Warmer, Brushed

Bars get really warm and it's quite efficient considering other similar warmers are 80 or 120 or 150 W. Coiling towels around the bars and adding a 2nd towel to reduce heat loss from the 1st towel works well. Good deal for the price when compared to others, but in general all towel warmers should be 1/3 of the cost. This towel warming market is screaming for off-shore manufacturing to greatly reduce cost because the technology is not that cutting edge but manufacturers are overcharging because this is considered a luxury.

Was really hopeful seeing that the product description states the bars can heat up to 136 degrees but unfortunately while the bars were hot to the touch, the heat did not transfer to any of the towels I tried. We hung everything from cheaper Walmart towels, to Nordstrom turkish towels (which are rather thin) to your standard cotton hand towels and none of them were warmed. Not quite sure why but this towel warmer did not warm towels so back it had to go.

It's ok, 40 watts is not what you think it is. A tendency to miss align at the joints between segments. From 10 feet looks pretty good. Mounted easy enough, taking my time maybe 15 minutes to sort out and hang.
