For decades we had used a mechanical kitchen scale. This Christmas we acquired a new XAct Weigh digital electronic scale, and it is exponentially more useful. Our XAct Weigh scale accurately weighs in kilograms, ounces, grams, pounds - whatever units are needed. The "Tare" function allows one to consecutively weigh objects without removing others earlier placed on the scale. And the scale's 5000 gram capacity is excellent for pretty much most of our household needs. The scale's slick black glass surface gives a fresh modern appearance in the kitchen, and cleans up nicely with a damp cloth. As a bonus, due to its accuracy, I have also discovered that our new XAct Weigh scale really works well for weighing letters and small packages. All of this is at the simple push of a button. Great scale at a great price. The tare works better than most kitchen scales I've used, and the quick off function will hopefully prolong the battery life. It also measures to the nearest gram rather than the nearest 2 grams like other scales in this price category. The only design flaw is the placement of the gram symbol to the top left of the ones place in the digital display (can be confused for a decimal point or comma), but it only took one cooking session to get used to it. I'm planning to buy several for use in our restaurant kitchen.

I recently ordered the Xact Weigh Digital Kitchen Scale because I do a lot of cooking. This scale is very easy to use. The unit of measurement is easily changed with one touch of a button making it easy to modify recipes and it will be great for portion control as I start a new weight loss program. The scale has a very thin profile and is good looking, so I can leave it out on the counter or easily store it. I highly recommend the Xact Weigh Digital Kitchen Scale.

This scale was sleek and elegant, with a small footprint. And versatile too, able to measure in measure in ounces, lbs, grams and kilo grams.And most importantly, it's accurate. I weighed a yam on the scale as well as a high tech Pitney Bowes postage meter I use in my business. And they both gave exactly the same weight. It's a good investment for anyone that wants to limit their caloric intake.

Love this scale! I have 3 kitchen scales-don't ask me why! I guess I just like gadgets! I like this one the best-I gave the other two away. This is so slick looking & easy to use. I use it for food but also use it for e-Bay & geeting cards that I feel might be over 1 ounce. Great Product!!!

Great little scale, perfect for weighing food for your diet. I really like the tempered glass top-easy to clean-and seems very tough. The instructions that come with it are easy to read and understand. The LCD display is easy to see. We bought 2 and my boyfriend uses his for his reloading. Great little scale overall, very happy with it.
