Briggs and Stratton 1501863MA Blade, Scraper

This is the perfect fit for my snowblower. Quality product for a great price. This is a genuine OEM part. Super fast shipment and receipt. Thanks so much! (and just to let others know, that if your scraper blade is riveted on like mine is for a craftsmans snowblower, you have to drill the rivets off and use new screws and locknuts to hold it on. But this does fit and the holes are in the correct placement. You should have no problems using this if your replacement part is 1501863ma. Qaulity, quality, quality product!

I'm a pretty mechanical person, so the idea of just installing this seemed straightforward. Even my manual that I've had since purchase suggested this part, BUT the scraper that is broken on the blower is part of the the entire molding/housing, not an add on. I could not bolt this scraper to my blower if I wanted to.

Made of hard polymer. Returned since it wasn't metal.

Plastic scarper bar arrived just as advertised. For the price of this plastic scraper blade I wish it would have shipped with the metal support bracket that attaches it to the chute (mine was rusted and broken in half). Found out the metal support bracket is not even available as a separate item. I had to go to Home Depot, buy a flat metal bar and fabricate a replacement bracket. Finally got it done and it seems to working fine. Lesson learned...remove the old part so you know what to expect.
