Great product
The only thing I would say was wrong with the product is that the 2 ball joint nuts that came with the product were defective they screw on just a bit because they were bent (slightly oval instead of round) I sugest not throwing away the ones that you are replacing. Other than that product is worth the money and arrived before anticipated.

Fácil de instalar
Hace solo 3 días que los instalé y al parecer funcionan bien, han disminuido los ruidos aunque ahora aparece un sonido que indica que tendré que sustituir los brazos también

Good enough
Horrible product ! I notice after installation that they made loud noise initially so I don’t know if it’s because they new and needed to be broken in or just needed warming up! But after a month and half of driving the noise became worst to the point that it sound like something was going to snap. So I wind up buying the originals and replacing my 2013 Hyundai Elantra! After inspection of the struts it turns out the spring started to rub against itself especially going over speed bumps making a really loud noise in the cabin of the car. So they were defective from the manufacture. And to top it off they didn’t wanna refund my money even tho I returned it within their return window. And had the nerve to ask for a mechanic bill! As if they paid for installation! Thank god I bought this on amazon they refund me my money and I’ll never ever purchase from Detroit axle again. Stay for from the and any cheaper struts. Just get the originals it will save u money in the long run!

Sway Bar Links are Bad. Struts Not Good Either. Customer Service is Great
Sway bars are not sealed and didn't last 6 months. Brake line seat on one strut needed filing for the line to fit. I have low confidence in these struts. One appears to be leaking.**Update 6/14/23: Detroit Axle Customer Service was great. I didn't have to be on hold long, spoke with someone personable and efficient, and the items will be replaced as soon as they are in stock. I changed my rating one to four stars and hopefully the replacements will last.

works well Hyundai veloster too!
I took the gamble and I installed this on a Hyundai Veloster Turbo, to smooth the rough ride. So far so good, after a few months! Also cheaper than the Veloster struts/shocks since those don't come pre-assembled. Saves all the extra (dangerous) work of transferring the coil springs from one strut to another, not to mention the tower mounts cost extra as well. No bottoming out, and the ride is not higher than OEM Veloster struts. Tried it on 3 separate set of wheels, 16", 17" and 18". Works well on all sizes! With the 16" wheels and these struts, the car rides 10x better for highway commuting, without beating me up on the way to work and back!

Doing well
11/20/21: Do yourself a favor and throw the sway bar links right in the trash (see images of 8 months of use) The struts are still good though.Seem to be holding up just fine 7 months later. The strut assembles ride good, no excessive dive while braking, no noise, no shaking. The swaybar links don't come pre-loaded with grease but they do have a grease nipple so you'll need a grease gun to load them. Do not install these dry or they'll have a short life.

Defective parts & unable to return w/out mechanics invoice
I’ve purchased from Detroit Axle in the past. Mostly brake pads, rotors, etc. I do all installations myself and have had no issues with product performance. So I decided to purchase shock/strut assemblies for my Elantra through Detroit Axle as well. Installation was easy except for the brake line receptacle. It was about 1/2 inch off and the securing lip was upside down. After filing the lip I was able to manipulate the brake line slightly and successfully secure it to the receptacle. This was the case on both the drivers side and the passenger side assemblies. Once finished with the complete installation I could tell right away the drivers side assembly was defective. It was very firm and difficult to compress. Hitting a bump was teeth-rattling. The passenger side appears to operate normally. I shared this information back with Detroit Axle to get a replacement for the defective assembly. They would not allow a return without a receipt from a mechanic…which was not possible since I do my own auto repairs. Since install (about 1 month ago) the drivers side assembly has failed completely and needs to be replaced. Since I was unable to get an exchange through Detroit Axle, I purchased a replacement assembly through an alternate supplier.
