Ordered this kit to replace a broken snap on a gift. It works great! The snap that was included in this kit was actually much better than the one I replaced, both in looks and functionality. This compact kit arrived intact and in good condition. The directions are actually on the product page shown on Amazon. The kit also includes the various tools needed to attach various size snaps that are also included. It has already paid for itself.

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice basic starter set especially as one still new to leather working and is learning snap/rivet setting. The tools are great and I feel I’ll be holding onto them for many future projects. The snaps themselves are questionable regarding their quality...they aren’t terrible but not great. Very easy to dent and bend if you use the wrong sized tool or miss a hammer strike. They also don’t snap as tightly as I would like so with certain leather projects that depend on a good locking snap that needs a some force to separate these wouldn’t be good for that. Using them on a belt, they look good but in regards to the thickness and positions they are in any bend immediately unseals them so I ll have to find another way to bond them.

This has been a good little set to do some leather work I’ve been doing.

Case was broken and came with no instructions

The snaps are mostly light duty and I got shorted at least 11 pieces. If you don’t have complete sets it’s impossible to make a snap.

Used to repair a coat missing on male post. New one was a perfect match to female spring side..

It is impossible to insert the back pin into the Jeans button so I am not able to use any of them.
