Great little lantern, but!!!
This is a great little lantern tick’s a lot of boxes, but the one I got did not tick them all, as in the description it says removable battery, and this is not the case unless you undo 4 screws and have a look. The ones I’ve seen had a little catch door on bottom by magnet. That’s why I’ve knocked a star off.

Handy adjustable lamp
Expensive for a tent lamp but worth it for me plenty of options for hanging or free standing very adjustable lights although switch does feel a little cheap

Decent lamp, but bit heavy and awful packaging!
Very bright lamp. Bit too heavy for backpacking though, which is disappointing. My main gripe is the packaging though. What is going on here Goal Zero? It's impossible to get it out of the box without ripping the box into numerous pieces. It annoyed me so much that I was tempted to return it for a refund, complete with the 20-odd bits of ripped cardboard that I had strewn on the floor, including a blood stained piece where I'd cut my hand on the packaging. It is simply ridiculous. Spoiled the product for me, but it's a decent lamp, if you don't mind the weight, and you have a degree in unpacking awkward items.

Limited but good
Well yes it runs for ever on dim light I can vouch for that personally but its 1 candle power and only suitable for very low ambient light, if you turn this baby up full blast it wont last long at all.... but it is really bright for a couple of hours (battery life should really be better)So......I've used this for a few years now for fishing and i think its the perfect little lamp for inside your Bivvi, warm ambient light rather than the bright white light but if you do need to turn it up you will eventually need a power pack to recharge it...this is done by its own pre attached charging lead. You get a choice of 180 or 360 degree lighting. It will dramatically save you power if you just use 180 degrees. there are two versions one has a removable battery (that's the one I have) and the other is built in. that's your choice to make. Overall i like it and it works for me best in the background on low as i use my head torch for tying rigs or any detailed work etc .... I like it.... I must do.... im still using it..... not cheap though 4 stars
