Don't be fooled by other brands. This is the only large shower cap that still fits around your head. I tried to get another brand that wound up being so big that it wouldn't stay on around my hair line and fell off while I was in the shower or under the drier, which defeats the purpose. You want a tight elastic and personally I need it to fit my 2 nieces when I deep condition their hair, as well. These work. Really only my oldest niece has long enough hair to need the full shower cap. But, the reason I prefer these to the regular size is because when you have 3 or 4 C hair it can be a problem to retain your length for proper detangling. If your hair is bunched up in a too small shower cap, it can be harder to detangle once you rinse out your deep conditioner and when using as a shower cap, I find it harder to retain my style. That said, I do wish they had a shower cap with about half of the volume capacity of this one because there is waisted space for my hair length and it gets annoying during a regular shower to have to be hitting the excess shower cap out of my way or holding it up to wash my back.

I like the cap but it’s a little too big for what I need. My hair is thick and other caps have been too small so I tried this one. Still accomplishes the goal though.

I will use these forever! I have huge coily, kinky, 4C hair and the regular size shower caps do not fit my head with my hair. With these extra large caps, I can fit all of my hair out, but also my hair sectioned with butterfly clips.A single cap lasts a very long time without being overstretched; I’ve even rinsed 1 out after dying my hair, and it can hold a lot of water without getting stretched out or ripping. I’ve never had one rip/break.

These are a great size for those with a lot of hair. My daughter has long thick curly hair and these hold all of her hair during conditioning. My one gripe is that you only get 10 in a pack, but otherwise these are great for our needs.

I expected these to be bigger not longer but that’s my fault for not paying attention to the picture. They get the job done though bc now I only need one shower cap instead of two to cover my fro. And they rinse out really well so don’t throw them away unless you’re using them for color processing.

I love these!! I have Sisterlocks that reach bra length and regular plastic caps do not work when I am showering or conditioning my hair. They are just what I needed.

Got these to use as shower caps for my long locs. Good for one use, not multiple. Comes apart at the back/bottom seam.
