I made these when I was young and this was easy to make with this package. Just be sure to read directions. Be sure to heat up the mold in the oil before dipping into batter or it will get stuck on and you will have to wait to clean it to use it. Took one time to figure the out and then we were good to go.

This is a sturdy product. It is heavy, but that’s because it is cast. A great deal for the price!

Over all liked this buñuelera! Well made and gets the job done. I would have loved for the thickness of the steel to be thinner. It being as thick as it is, takes it longer to heat up before you start dipping in the batter. Also if it was thinner you can get a more consistent size in the buñuelo thickness, and thus allowing you to use less oil. Would recommend, being that in the US it’s hard to find these at all.

Got these for my mom for Christmas because she lost hers in a flood and loves to make these cookies. She was so excited to get them in an authentic old-looking box including the oil spoon! Great price and loved receiving them before Christmas!

Arm of handle is straight up so while frying your buenelos your hand is feeling the heat unlike rosette irons which usually have an angled arm. The handle is also plastic and loose when it should be wooden. Also while cooking the heat tends to loosen the handle from the iron so I had to adjust and tighten several times during the cooking process. I loved the iron idea along with my awesome bunuelo recipe but was not satisfied with the quality.

These worked better than the ones my mom gave me years ago. Didn't loose their shape.

Very well made and easy to make

I loved the fact that this included everything I needed. I prepped the buñuelo maker with oil as advised and was excited to use it as I was going to make buñuelos al viento as a Christmas gift for family and friends. However, it was a major fail. The batter did not come off as it was supposed to and it stuck to it. Due to this, I had to revert back to making regular buñuelos which is not what I had planned for Christmas. The design is beautiful and I was really excited and hopeful when I received it but it did not work for me. It actually looked as if it was used or something. It was scratched and had holes. I did not pay close to $30 to not be able to use it. This is not what I was expecting at all.
