BIGGER is BETTER - pancake edition
This is the BEST pancake flipper ever. First of all, if you are serious about pancakes, you need a serious flipper. I had an OXO - some how it got burnt (because it is nylon, like most of the other flippers on amazon). I ordered a new one - turns out the new OXO is smaller than the old one. This is bad. My family likes really big pancakes. We don't need a stack - we just need one big pancake to fill up a plate. That requires serious flipping power.I tried the Swedish flipper which was very highly reviewed. Well it is nice, but way too small. Are Swedish pancakes like Swedish meatballs? It is also nylon. So anyway, why is this one so good. First - it is HUGE. Second - silicone. Silicone is good to 600-700oF vs about 400oF for nylon. Your nylon flippers will get burnt sooner or later. Third - nice very thin edge to slip under the pancakes. Fourth - it is flexible - this is good when the pancake is a bit too close to the edge.Added bonuses - it comes in a really nice box and has a fancy Italian name. It also was a similar price to flippers half the size so really it was half the cost.

THE SUPREMO SPATULA FOR LARGER, HOMEMADE PANNY-CAKES
I never thought I would review a spatula, but this one is worth the typing! I bought it to FINALLY have a spatula that does not stick and can turn our homemade pancakes, but have found that it worked great for mixing scrambled eggs and soup/chowder, chili in a large stock pot (when held vertically). If you have ever had a new spatula "melt" at the turning lip - and frowned when you had to jimmy it under your cake, you will be glad you bought this silicone baby. [And it is dishwasher safe and cleans very well in the magic box. I was NOT given a free spatula for this review and am always annoyed when I take the time to read a review and then find out it was rigged.]

Just Not Quite What I Wanted, But Seller is Responsive
First of all, this turner is huge -- if that is what you're wanting! I wanted one shaped like this, but this is about an inch too wide for my skillet; thus, it makes it difficult to turn multiple items over in the pan because the spatula gets in the way!Second, the rubber silicon spatula is a bit springy -- not completely solid. So, the turning motion is just something to get used to; the "springyness" or flexibility does allow it to easily get under the food you want to turn over.As far as cleaning up, the spatula tends to allow grease from burgers to adhere to it. So, it is a bit more of a headache to deal with in the middle of a cooking process to have to wipe the spatula off, rather than just giving it a quick rinse.I would have returned it, but Amazon's shipping charges and the need to go to a UPS store mitigates the value of the return.

Solid and wide end spatula- an omelet/ pancake makers dream
Great product. Though relatively new (so only time will tell the test of durability, but who reviews an item months after they're bought!) from the few times this product was used it performed excellently. The construction seems to be pretty solid and looks like it should last for years. The part I am really happy with is the size of the spatula: very wide. Perfect for inserting under an omelet or pancake, easily catching most of the egg/batter to make flipping a perfect circle an assured win (without it flopping in middle ;-( ). Also for thick fish fillets the strength/size of the handle makes it a perfect compatibility

over-sized head, undersized handle
The handle is designed in such a way that it puts your hand closer to a splattering pan than a regular spatula. Also the head is not attached well and so I am not expecting this product to last very long. Sadly, I purchased two, one as a gift and another for myself. I would not recommend this product.

Handle has started to rust.
This kitchen utensil is very useful for flipping eggs. It is definitely larger than it looks. It is definitely more geared towards omelets than eggs but still works just fine. If this product were like 25% smaller it would be perfect for egg flipping and I would definitely buy it.Update: 8/2/2019The stainless steel handle is starting to rust after only dishwasher use on the top rack. Minus one star.

Great for pancakes and sandwiches, not great for browning hamburger.
This is a very well built kitchen tool. IT actually doesn't meet my expectations for why I bought it but that's not the tools fault. I wanted to replace an old stiff spatula that is used mainly for browning hamburger. This spatula is very thin and flexible so it isn't the best for chopping raw meat. However it is the perfect pancake/grilled cheese flipper. It's very big. Like wow big. I know the measurements are posted but when I opened the box I was wowed. It is a little bigger than an average slice of bread.I am still on the search for a good hamburger chopping spatula but I will never again search for a pancake or fish or sandwich flipper.

Great gift...
...for the person in your life who HAS to use something other than a rubber spatula to make an omelette. Because when we are making dinner omelettes, side by side at the stove, and "someone" says the reason their omelette didn't turn out was because they can't USE a Spatula because: "they don't have enough coverage." Well..this is baby has LOTS of coverage. You can flip an omelette in style now...so they'll look MUCH better. Love, =)
