My Amazon Find for 2025
I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon. I read the reviews, watch videos, and then make the plunge. For me, this is the best product that I've purchased in 2025. It's not a wood filler (although I admit to loving Bondo's wood filler). This takes the unevenness out of wood, fills pinholes/grain. My process ... use wood filler for the big stuff. Sand as best you can. And when you are 95% there but have a few areas to touch up, use this. It dries quickly; instructions say you can work with it for 3 minutes. I find it more like 15 seconds. But it thoroughly dries and is ready for sanding quickly. Once sanded, if feels sooooo smooth. I was using this for trim at first, but then I had a brainstorm. I was repainting my wood door semigloss. But how good would it look with the existing brush strokes? Why don't I use this product on the entire door? Mind you, this is not a quick project. It took 4 tubes and perhaps 6 hours to apply it. (You can only apply a small area at a time, and I found working with the smallest putty knife easiest.) And it's messy to sand away for my big project ... pink sand everywhere. When I touch my door now, it's so smooth! I can't wait to paint and prime. (Damn weather.) I get why this product is sold in a tube, as it hardens quickly. Honestly, I've had some issues with the tube leaking, or being too liquid-y at first. You'll want to clean your putty knife frequently. (Acetone works well.) A good pair of gloves or recommended. If you do get some on your hands, you can remove with acetone. (Yeah, I know ... but it works and I lived.) To get it off the clothes, BEFORE laundering, use isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. It comes right up. In short, it's not the easiest product to use, can be messy, but the end results are fricking amazing. I can't stop touching my door. I know that the way I used this product is non-traditional. But I see the potential for so many more projects. This product is the real deal!

Great stuff for 3D prints
This stuff is great for sealing, repairing and touching up 3D printed models. I used it with PETG. Great to mix with Acetone and paint it on with several coats on your model areas that need repair, especially lines left on top of areas that plateau. Fast drying, easily sanded and then can be primed and painted. Love the tubes as it allows me to use a small quantity and not waste a whole tube or can.

Excellent product. Lacquer only!
This is a terrific product that will fill the lightest and slightest surface pinholes or texture anomalies in your lacquer finishing so that you get that perfect, glassy finish that is so often elusive. Not sure if this is good or not, product is tinted red. I have been doing a lot of white lacquer spraying lately and I have to be sure that I am covering the red spots left from this product. Maybe that's a good thing - you can't miss them! The red doesn't bleed into my white lacquer thankfully. Does not work with water based finishes such as house paint. Get an acrylic glazing putty for that.

Nice Item!
I used this for preparing a guitar for painting. Very easy to use. Quick drying time. However, I still let it cure overnight. Value pack was priced right.

Bondo is the stuff
Just what I expected for a good price. It's exactly what it says it is, the tubes are a decent size and the product is Bondo quality. Shipped fast. These are being used to refinish 3D prints and it's very good when you get a tutorial (hello, youtube.) Do use a vapor mask when using and dust mask when sanding though.
