Exact replacement for Ford part # 7L1Z-8115-A
Part is an exact replacement for Ford OEM part number 7L1Z-8115-A. Amazon fitment said it was not a fit for my vehicle. It appeared identical to the one I had so I took a chance. The OEM plug is over $20. Hopefully this helps someone else. Purchased this for my 2010 Ford F-150 4.6 V8. As many have found out the plastic on the plug fuses to the plastic tank on the radiator resulting in the knob snapping off when trying to loosen the plug to drain the coolant. I found it was easier to remove the piece that’s stuck in the radiator with an EZ-out threaded into the center. Once that’s removed apply some silicone grease to the O-rings and also to the inside face of the plug where it seats on the radiator. As shown in photos I also added a thin metal washer to hopefully prevent this from happening again. Poor design in my opinion. Replacement plug is identical to the original one and a perfect fit. Didn't come with the pictured washer
Had to source the washer locally. Though it shows the washer in the pic, it was not included. The package was sealed, the factory packaging, so it didn't fall off. It just wasn't there. Otherwise, perfect fit.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Perfect fit for my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.6L engine. Identical to the factory part even though Amazon said it was not for this vehicle. This part was also much cheaper than the others.

Amazon says it does not fit a 2009 Mazda 6, but i found that it does indeed fit and is leak free, it is a perfect fit.2009 Mazda 6 , 2.5L, 5A Very Good match for this Vehicle.
