Don’t normally write reviews but ended up reading lots before buying this. It is great. It is very light, and easy to maneuver. Cuts the grass well and I line that the grass is distributed as fine cuttings. I have yet to add the spacers as happy with the length as is but I found it easy enough on my last flymo. Just use a tea towel and some gloves and brute force. Installation v easy although the instructions are poorly drawn and not very clear. Small, nippy and effective. Plus very reasonable.

This mower is light to handle and cuts the grass well with just one spacer added. It is not noisy but there is a little vibration. Bought to replace our 15 year old Flymo there is one feature that is not as good. The cable being permanently attached to the machine makes it awkward to store. If the cable is accidentally cut it would be a big job to get it replaced. Also the length of the cable is not great. Our old one was nearly twice as long. It was very easy to attach the handle and add a spacer. It folds easily once you discover how to do it! All in all it is a good mower if you don't compare it to a previous model.

I've just tried out my new 'SimpliGlide 330' and was very impressed. My lawn isn't the flattest but the 'Simpliglide' hovered over all the subtle contours and dips to deliver a very good result. Assembly of the parts is very simple and, after setting up the blade spacers to provide a 2 cm cutting height, I was away. The blade seems to be more basic looking than that on my - previous - 'Turbo Lite 330' model but it may, actually, be more efficient by virtue of that because it scythes through the grass extremely easily. I must admit that I have had a succession of Flymo hover mowers over the last 5 decades, so I'm no new convert. It's just that I haven't ever had a bad one. Eamonn

Unfortunately, this mower wasn’t great for our garden. We used it once and it’s been sitting in the shed ever since. The hover function only seems to work properly if your lawn is very flat and even. Our garden has a few bumps and uneven areas, and the mower struggled to glide across the grass. It’s lightweight and easy to store, but for anything other than a perfectly level lawn, it wasn’t practical for us.

I have used a Flymo for 40 years and up until 3 years ago they have been petrol ones. After becoming a widow I didn't want to bother with spark plugs and points so I purchased this small electric model. it lasted the 3 years and then the switch broke which apparently is common. The part is very cheap if you have a handyman to do it, which I don't. I have just bought another because to get it fixed meant two 20 mile trips, part and labour and a long wait so it was more cost effective to replace it. These mowers are cheap in my opinion and not made to last , spares are readily available but unless you can fix it yourself it is not cost effective. The mower works well and cuts very quickly for a small devise, it is light to carry and deals with rough ground very well. One down side is putting on and removing the spacers to adjust the height of the cut. When purchased in comes without any attached. The nut that you have to remove needs brutal force and two people to undo it . The plastic tool for this is inadequate and only useful for retightening. Both purchases have been the same , overly tightened in manufacture. It needed 2 people, WD 40 and a large spanner on both occasions. The second downside is the screw in nuts with knobs that hold the top handle to bottom work loose with the vibration of the machine and are prone to fall off in use iif you don't make sure they are tight before you start. I have no experience of other electric mowers in this price range so can't compare. Is it a cut above the rest ? i do not know. I rarely write reviews but felt anyone looking to purchase this item should be aware of the positives and negatives.

I need a lightweight lawnmower as I have a back problem, I must say I’m very impressed with this! It’s powerful, easy to use , much easier than my previous one and my lawn now looks great and it took less effort to cut!

Everything is OK. Except you send it with wrong power cord - for UK user. So I had additional unnecessary costs.

Positiv: Hält was er verspricht! Super leicht Führung über dem Rasen. Negativ: Motor überhitzt sehr schnell (vielleicht liegt's an unseren sommerlichen Temperaturen?) Habe die Haube etwas modifiziert - Motor bekommt jetzt mehr Luft und überhitzt nicht mehr!

für meine zwecke vollkommend ausreichend ... bin mit dem "mähergebnis" sehr zufrieden
