ALIEN SUNSHADE for Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) Extra Long Full Length Sun Shade Mesh Top Cover (Wine) - Blocks UV, Wind, Noise

I really wish I loved this. It was super cheap and all the reviews are great, all the other sunshades cost way more, it looks great... I mean, I could go on but... I hate it, unfortunately. I got this solely because the description said I could install it and not have to worry about removing it to put the soft top back on. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I mean, technically it is BUT it’s SUCH a pain in the ass to get the soft top clips that connect to the windshield engaged when this is installed. It’s such a pain that I’ve quit putting my top in the sun-rider position because clipping the front clamps down takes way longer than if I didn’t have this shade installed which makes me sad... That’s 1/2 the part of owning a Jeep! The other thing I hate about it is (and maybe this is user error) that it isn’t super tight. I’m not a tall dude and the wrinkles in the mesh from it not being tight enough just barely rub the top of my head and it drives me absolutely nuts. If the company reaches out to me and lets me know what I’m doing wrong then I’ll update the review but for now, I plan on removing it this coming weekend because I can’t stand it much longer.

Turned out very well. A couple of recommendations that I emailed the vendor:1) Provide one extra of the short length tie's (for the front two tie down holes...as mine lined up dead center on either side of the roof top bracket)2) A little longer length (just a few inches) would have been nicer, as it didn't quite go all the way back below the rear seat head-rests on the 2 door JK model. Still well acceptable, just would have liked to see it be a bit longer3) Make it wider to allow it to overlap onto the roll bars. Just my personal preference.Overall I was still very satisfied with the product and its fitment. Excellent quality material. I am extremely satisfied with their customer service with answering questions and following up with solutions to my installation issues. Highly recommend this product and any product from a quality and support stand point!

So much sun gets through this cover. I thought I read somewhere it blocks 90% of harmful rays. More like let's through 90%. Also, does not go down in the back as far as pictured. Someone else pointed that out in a review as well. It installs extremely easy. The quality of the fabric is good and it doesn't flap or make noises.....however, the lack of sun protection was a deal breaker. I expected SOME sun to come through as it is mesh, but I had another mesh top that blocked more sun. That one was a shorter bikini top. Hard to find one that covers the passenger area well.

I went with the navy blue and love the color. Okay so the initial install of the sunshade was easy. Other than the fact that you have to fight the bungee cords a bit to get it all tired up. How even once installed it looks great! It’s been sort of cold and I leave early for work so I’ve only had the top off for two days and I really enjoyed driving around without the sun directly shining down into my eyes. Its been about two weeks with the top on and no signs of rips or tears like some people have claimed. Another Pro to having the shade on is that it definitely helps with the fluttering of the soft top when on how ever you cant use the two bungee cords where the top latches to.it also keeps the top from sagging onto your head when the top is flipped open. I’ll definitely be getting the back window shades to help with making it harder to see into the jeep and to keep the dog from falling when the top is fully down.

I absolutely love this sunshade. It’s a great quality, a great fit, doesn’t’ flap in the wind, and it’s a great price! Money well spent! I purchased pink/extra length & I purchased a second one in purple reg length. I was planning on returning one but the quality and the great price of these .. I decide to keep both colors! :) The packaging is awesome as well! They put TLC into it. It was like receiving a gift <3 .. I’m very happy with these sunshades.Thank you ALIEN SUNSHADE

I’ve had this for just shy of 2 years and it’s held up great. I wanted to wait a while before I left a review to really test it out. It does it’s job and I have been caught in rain before. And no joke. If your driving a good speed in the rain you won’t get wet. It keeps a lot of water out.

I wanted a mesh top that would cover the rear of the back seat passenger’s heads. This model for the JK fits the bill for my TJ. As for as the install goes. I would say, if you can tie your shoes you should be able to get this installed with no problems. It does a great job blocking those UV rays, and seems to cut down a little bit of the wind noise. The little green alien “action figure” is a nice touch!

I bought the extended Sunshade for my 2 door Jeep Wrangler. This top is great, it keeps the uv rays out but still feels like your going topless. The installation took about 10-15 minutes, and was not difficult to install. When I put the top back on for fall/winter I did leave the sunshade in place and it was a little bit challenging to secure the freedom panels but it is doable.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I've had melanoma in the past and this allows me to enjoy driving the jeep around with the top down and not having to worry about getting another sunburn...For complete install/video review checkout my page on YouTube!
