They made my life a lot easier. I'm a female who drives a lifted truck and I was always able to step in just fine, till I had some work on my knee. I started having to use the steering wheel to help get in. So I bought these, installed them myself. They improved my life a lot once installed. A few changes I'd suggest, is they may work better if they hung down a inch or two lower. These installed right under my door frame and i've seen others down lower. 2nd, there is a gap between the bars themselves and the rubber pad so when you step on it the pad feels like it's moving because of that space between the two. 3rd. Double check the label position. (rubber goes towards the front of your door) Mine were backwards so i had to swap the passenger side with the drivers side to make them work right.

Everything was perfect but the labels came inverted

These were purchased for my son's truck as a birthday gift.The truck is a 96 single cab 1500 Dodge Ram.The were some old rusted out nerf bars that we wanted to replace so we looked for the best option for the price and decided to go with these.There are a few things we like and a few we didn't.What we liked....- The price was really good compared to the many other options we saw when we searched extensively.- They were the right size and fit and look good.What we didn't like...- The bars were incorrectly labeled Left and Right side. So we were scratching our heads for a while thinking we were shipped the wrong parts.- The black paint rubs off far too easy- The bracket support set up was not as good as the previous nerf bars.- There was a vital metal support on the old bars that this one didn't have. So we left that metal pc on to attach into the new bar but we will have to use a larger self tapping bolt to go into the nerf bar. See the pics.For the price, we would buy then again but simply wish the manufacturer would label their parts correctly and add the one metal brace with a pre threaded hole in the nerf bar for the needed support.

The tubes were marked backwards so you have to put them on then take them back off thanks for the extra work

Fit great, just what I needed.
