Brush Strokes Oval Cushion Boar Bristle Brush

I am surprised to see no reviews for this awesome brush. I have been using them for several years. With every purchase i pull out some bristles and burn them to see if I smell plastic or hair, and it is always boar bristle hair, not plastic. This brush is well put together. It is also priced very very well. I have seen 100% boars bristle brushes for $200 that have tons of space between the bristles. The bristles on this brush are tightly packed making for a wonderful brushing experience.

Initially I was happy with the brush. Soon, however, the bristles started breaking off to stubs. Save your money.

It's hard for a brush to "distribute oils and condition the scalp" when the bristles don't even penetrate the hair. This brush just skates across my hair without so much as picking up one hair shaft. It's a total disappointment. It's also relatively clumsy to hold as the handle is flat and wide
