Good but why not make them the same size? If you have 2 or 3 cats then the small bowl just wouldn't work.

When I got a cat for the first time, I didn't know what kind of food/water dish to get so I purchased a plastic one that was kind of too big for her. It would have been more of a dog bowl, looking back. I bought this cute little pink one because the food dish is smaller than the water dish and represents the amount she actually eats so she doesn't have to go diving for it. Also, cats have a very strong sense of smell and over time bacteria will collect in a porous plastic bowl, even if washed. Stainless steel is a cleaner option and hopefully she can taste the difference and will be more hydrated.When I mentioned this purchase to my Dad, he commented that we eat and drink out of plastic dishes all the time and don't think it's "bacteria infested." I let him now that nothing is too good for my little Princess and she deserves the best. Especially since she has to eat the same thing every single day. Luckily, I don't have to do that!

This dish set exceeded my expectations. It really is the perfect combination of modern, adorable, and functionality. The stainless bowls are a bit thinner and lighter than I expected, but still thick enough that I’m not worried about dents if I drop one. I love that there are two different sizes as well for the bowls. The smaller one is perfectly sized for a single food portion and the larger allows for more water to be available at any given time. Plus it just adds even more to the great aesthetic of the set. The quality of the main piece that holds them is just fantastic as well with a beautiful slight tone to it and a great sheen. Bottom line is that I could not be more pleased with both the quality and look.

I absolutely LOVE this cat dish!!! I have six cats and I have one of these for each cat. I used to use ceramic dishes, but I would drop them and break those constantly. This double diner is great because I put their wet food in the metal dish in the smaller section and their dry food in the metal dish in the larger section. It's a great dish because I can lift out the metal bowls and wash them individually each day and I leave the white dish (which the metal dishes sit in) on the floor. When the white dish gets dusty or dirty, I can just pop it in the dishwasher to freshen it up! It is a really sturdy dish - I've had these double diners for about 2-3 years now and they are still in perfect condition (I did accidentally break one, but I had dropped it hard on a tile floor - I promptly bought a new one)! I would HIGHLY recommend this cat dish!!!

This is adorable and better than I expected! The base is pretty heavy so my kitten can't knock it over when she runs around like a crazy baby. The metal bowls come out, which solves my main problem. (I was using a one piece divided dish and would get water into the dry food when I moved the bowl to a different room.) I just love the design! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the color. I would not call this pink. This is more of a lavender. The product image doesn't really show the true color. I added an image of the bowl with a ruler so everyone else can make their own judgement about the color and see the size as well. Personally, I don't care about color. I only picked "pink" over white because it was cheaper.

This is a great combo food and water dish even for kittens. Our kitten was able to use this even when she was 2 months old and I like that the bowls can come out and can be put in the dishwasher or hand washed in the sink making cleanup really easy. It's also very compact and good for travel. The metal bowls are sturdy and the holder is good and easy to wipe clean. If your kitten is younger than 2 months, it might be hard for them to reach the food (as it was for our kitten when we first got her), but once they are over 2 months, they can reach the food bowl in this set.

I have two very playful 1 year old cats who love to dump water bowls. It became out of hand having to clean up full bowls of water so I was eager to find a heavy weight water bowl that they couldn’t rip over. They also play around them a lot of throw each other into the bowls and since I bought this I haven’t had to clean up water spills once. I also notice they drink water a lot more now so I’ve purchased a second one for another room in my house.

I purchased this for my kitten because he was scooting the small individual bowls all around the kitchen when he ate or drank. His "Catit bowl," as he knows it, helps with that problem. The base stays in one place, and it's easy for me to tell at a glance when I need to refill his water and dry food.Another convenient aspect is that the two stainless steel basins can be lifted out of the base and cleaned or refilled. They're easy to hand wash or put into the dishwasher, and they fit right into the base without moving around. At $7.95, this product is reasonably priced.

Love these, perfect for my cats and found somewhere to get bowls that fit so i can use the base and rotate with clean the bowls.The big bowl is perfect for wet food and means they don't slop it out of the bowl. Smaller size good for water or biscuits.

lovely quality plastic bowls, with the metal piece that comes out and easily goes in the dishwasher. The rubber feet are a bonus too as it doesnt go scooting across the floor !

Look good in kitchen.I like this because it is a little nor stylish than a normal food bowl and looks good in the kitchen.The water bowl is slightly to small but not an issue.Wipes clean no problem.
