Globe Electric 67045 D'Alessio Table Lamp, 20 in, Matte Black

Over the style and look was perfect for my bedroom. I wanted something very modern looking that when with the dark espresso colored furniture I had in my bedroom. I also wanted something that was small enough to fit on my night table next to my bed without taking all the space up (since I have my wireless phone charger and my alarm clock on there). It was perfect. The quality of both the base and the lamp shade are very nice. I put a 60 watt LED lightbulb in there and it puts out a great amount of filtered light from the shade. Again, I have no complaints there. I had read that several people had issues where the cord and the switch for the light were on the same side which meant that you would either have to reach behind the lamp to turn it off or have the cord in the front. I did not have that issue with the one I received. My only complaint that I do have with it is that the room between the base and the lamp shade is rather narrow and to be able to turn it on and off you have to reach up into that narrow spot and turn the light switch off. A little bit cumbersome, but it is doable. I guess I could get a smart outlet to be able to turn it on and off from an app on the phone, but it isn't that bed yet. The lamp came undamaged. It was well packaged. It looked exactly like it was on the web page and functioned without any issue. Just make sure that when attaching the lamp shade, you put it on correct (it covers the light bulb completely) if not just turn it up side down from the current way and it will. I got it on sale and I think it is of a quality that is more than what I spent on it. This is why it gets 5 stars.

I have had these for several years - a floor model and two table lamps. They have held up well, the shades are durable and they look great.

Perfect bedside table lamp!

I thought this was great value for money. Very nice, very sturdy and very handsome lamp. The only thing that I didn't like (and this may be due to some defect in my brain) but I had a really hard time getting the lampshade to make sense. When I put it on, the bulb stuck out of the top of the shade. That can't be right. It turns out that you have to install it wire side down, not up. I was putting it on upside downand was very confused. So, if you buy this lamp, and you have similar deficiencies to me, you may want to turn the shade upside down :)

Lamp works well and easy to put together. Lampshade once attached makes it difficult to access the switch. Posts holding lampshade are in the way of switch.

I love the style if the lamps. I bought two. One was from Amazon warehouse that claimed used condition but it was perfectly fine like the new one. The are the modern / asian theme I was looking for for the best price I could find. They are metal so very sturdy and will last years to come. It was easy to attach the lamp shade but there doesn't seem to be anything to keep the shade from spinning when touched/bumped.

Love these lamps! Bought 2 for our living room and they are perfect height-20” and size for our small condo. My previous lamps from house were far too large. Also these match the legs of our coffee & end tables purchased on Amazon. Very modern, very white linen rectangular shade with such a great looking sturdy base. These would also look great in a bedroom. Our condo is all black, white and grey and these are perfect. I’ve seen others I don’t like as much at 3 times the price! They wouldn’t suit a large room as they aren’t tall but as we have sized down they are absolutely perfect and really add style to the room. Excellent quality, well made at an unbelievable low price. I recommend. Be sure you put the shade on properly I read reviews that said the bulb showed- no it doesn’t- they have the shade on upside down. So if you think the shade is too short- please invert and fall in love!

This is not only modern and gorgeous, its sturdy, and I don't know what ppl are talking about how you need to go up on the lamp to turn it on......I think EVERY table lamp has the same normal switch!! The color is bright but not blinding, like a refund lamp, the shade is fine if following instructions, I accidentally turn it upside down as well, but its EXTREMELY sturdy, no issues, if want a bright light ,get a bright bulb, ifvesntbles, get a dimmer bulb, but I loved so much got another! Only problem had was I did choose to ship on Amazon packaging, and both times did not ..which I was a little confused, being I live I a condo and delivered without evrn tongue my bell.....so any could have taken it, thankfully nobody dud, and amazing, as usual, dealt well with the situation. I have full faith in them. But thus lamp is out of thus earth perfect!!!@

Very pretty and easy to put together. Just make sure you first unscrew the shade holder, set the shade on, then screw the shade holder in place. Seems that some were not doing this so therefore the shade would be very wobbly but if done correctly, it is not wobbly at all. If the shade is placed upside down, then the height dimension would be incorrect, but if placed correctly, the height is as stated. Would buy again.

Very nice design and construction. Modern, contemporary styling A dimmable switch and 100 watt version would be the only improvements I would have liked to see, but very happy with the lamp.
