Battery ran fine for 6 months and now it charges for a little bit before the unit displays error 5.
Battery ran fine for 6 months and now it charges for a little bit before the unit displays error 5. Search on the internet indicates it can be due to the battery. I am over the limit of 30 days to return the battery. Getting 6 months of use from the battery seems unfair. I am not sure what are the options available to me.

Marked Improvement Over Older Battery; Price A Tiny Bit High Though
Fit right into our Roomba 510 - installation was typical for a roomba battery.The first run, the battery lasted for a whole bedroom (the old battery was dying before it could finish the same room) and then STILL had enough leftover to do most of the upstairs hallway. On the second run, it did our largest bedroom and then the light was still green! So, I put it in our smaller bedroom and it did most of that. On the third run, it did half of our first floor (a mix of carpet/wood) and then there was enough left to do most of the upstairs hallway again.Packaging: A small cardboard box; typical for off-brand roomba replacement batteries.Bang for Your Buck: At $26.99, the cost of this unit is on the high side for a 3.5Ah battery... multiple 4-5Ah batteries are available for around $20. Deducted a star.
