Why pay to destroy your clothes dryer timer?
This product was a sad story that unfolded this past summer. I purchased this 2 pack of knobs 2 or 3 times and every single one broke/split. The problem is that the barrel of the knob that slips over the shaft of the timer is not reinforced enough and it spits (see picture). There is a metal clip inside the barrel but it needs to be on the outside of the barrel. The kicker is that when the barrel splits it begins to wear down the shaft on the timer making it such that no knob will work. If there could be a “no star” rating I would have given that. Please do not purchase these unless you wish to pay for frustration and ruin the timer on your clothes dryer
