OK, so I have this product for some time now , maybe for 2 years now, and what great water fountain it is. My cat loves it, it is super silent, and still working perfectly. It has to be cleaned quite often, and I don't use tap water to avoid calcification, so not sure the durability of the product if used with tap water.

I love this water fountain! It's super easy to set up and maintain and my cat loves it. He does also drink out of other water sources so I don't think he's especially fussed abou the running water element but I'm happy that this is helping get more water into him as he has early stage kidney disease. I did like the look of the flower model but I felt this one would be more practical and more likely to be used by my scaredy cat so I'm very glad I got this one. It's pretty much silent all the time - I only start to hear the sound of the water when it needs topped up, so it's a useful reminder. And it's fairly cheap to run too as the filter only needs to be replaced every 3 months. And it looks quite nice and doesn't take up much space so happy to have it in my living room.

These are much better than a static bowl of water although our cat will still drink from our stinking pond when he can. The fountain is great, not too noisy, we change the filters once a month & rinse the unit every week. We fill it with tap water but store the water in the fridge and allow the chlorinated smell to vent off.The downside has been pump failures, one so far at 11 months and the latest seemingly on its last legs after 8 months. Amazon have been great and accepted the returns no problem, we're in a hard water area & clean the pump properly - its comes apart to allow the impeller to be cleaned.Overall its great for our cat, much better than the bowl but let down by the rubbish pumps - especially as when the pump stops the water drains down leaving no water to drink.

I remember seeing a pet water fountain on tv a few weeks ago and thinking ‘who would seriously buy one of those’ and here I am writing a review for the pet water fountain I’ve just bought!!I’ve got 2 cats who refuse to drink from a bowl (yes they’re that stubborn!) instead they drink from the tap and won’t stop meowing til the cold water tap is turned on!! I can’t blame them wanting fresh drinking water but our bathroom is upstairs so it means going up & down the stairs to turn the tap on. One of our cats is 12 and has arthritis so it’s getting harder for him to manage the stairs which is the reason why I’ve ended up getting the water fountain. I’m so glad I got it, it’s really good.When I first opened the box and saw the instructions and pieces I needed to put together I was a little daunted, but it’s really simple to put together and took just 5 minutes.Both cats have taken to the fountain straightaway and already using it which is fantastic. It’s really quiet you can’t hear the motor, and the lead is a good size for positioning the fountain. There’s a constant flow of fresh drinking water as there’s a filter in the unit - it’s great. It holds 3 litres of water so it’s nice & sturdy, no worries about it getting tipped over. Comes with a brush for cleaning and the bowls are dishwasher safe.I’m really happy I’ve found this and would definitely recommend it.Arrived well packaged and super fast delivery.
