Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Zero Packets, 35 Count, 3 Cases

The upside--great cost, amazing delivery speed.The downside--in the first box I opened, several of the packets leaked, making a mess inside the box and all over my counter (not to mention wasted product). As other reviewers have mentioned, the sweetness is NOT one-for-one with sugar. This is clearly disclosed on the box itself (it is listed as 70% as sweet as sugar), but nothing prepares you for just how much of this stuff you'll need to use to equal the sweetness of sugar, especially in strong coffee. I found that I could overcome this somewhat by pairing it with Stevia. But if I'm left with doing that, I might as well go with Zsweet, which I intend to try next. I have used it for several days now, and noticed no unpleasant aftertaste, nor experienced any unpleasant side effects.

Made from Erythritol, a simple sugar alcohol that is nearly as sweet as sugar but results in virtually zero calories and no glycemic response, we use Zero for sweetening oatmeal and liquids. The product is great, although ultimately it is a matter of taste; I love it but my spouse prefers Equal. However, as others have mentioned, upon opening the box, we found ~7% of the individual packages had opened and lost some of their contents. We will not buy the individual packs again and bought the bulk packaging for our next purchase.

It does not sweeten as well as I would like. I can barely taste it in my iced tea but it at least does not have any after taste like I get with other sweeteners.

Not that sweet so have to use more than ie: 2pkts for some things and then it changes the taste of the product you poured it into.

whether or not this sweetener is more healthy than Stevia or Truvia, etc., etc., it is tasteless as far as I can tell. 1 package is supposed to equal 1 teaspoon of sugar. Usually chemical sweeteners are TOO sweet. This one is the opposite. Not worth it in my opinion.

expensive but worth it, no aftertaste, the only sweetener I really like. Not quite as sweet as sugar but excellent. Do NOT buy the 1000 count carton that they offer- I did - the packets were packed LOOSE and half the packets were empty, most of the others had split and leaked sugar all over the carton and my kitchen, It may be more expensive to buy this 35 count box, but at least you will get what you paid for instead of 500 empty packets and a kitchen that will take you days to clean.

Did not meet expectation

Erythritol is absolutely the best sugar substitute I've ever found - natural or artificial; it tastes exactly like sugar...no calories, no glycemic load or impact, and no side effects. There is no downside to erythritol; I'm really surprised it's not more widely used here in the U.S.! The price here was much better than at Whole Foods (the only local retailer I can find that offers these packets, which are great for traveling and going out to eat). LOVE this product!!!
