I love this tool!
I now own five rotary hammers varying from 40 lbs to this. I live on a property with a lot of stone and clay in the soil, and I have built two houses on it, as well as dug too many trenches by hand and with those rotary hammers. The XRH03Z is great for lighter chipping and drilling tasks, and is a pleasure to use when the larger rotary hammers I have are overkill. The variable speed is very responsive and I am able to work quite subtly with the XRH03Z, as well as dig in more strongly when needed. I am growing progressively more appreciative of not handling more weight than a job requires (as I "mature"), and I love being cord free when possible.

Little hammer drill that could
Electrician here, I've had this for over a year and it's one if my favorite tools. First, it is not a cord and plug style hammer drill, do not expect comparable power to one.That said, it accepts a wide range of attachments. Drill bits punch through concrete with ease every time. Core bits take longer but also work. It even drives ground rods, bit sometimes they require a few wacks with a hammer when run into a rock, and then it keeps right on driving. Everyone I have worked with that did not have something like this, has since gotten something like this. It is far more portable, manuverable, and convenient than it's corded counterpart.Highly recommend, has not let me down.

Things a beast . So much more convenient than running a cord . Drills 3/8 anchors with ease. Would I do production drilling with it Day in and day out ? No . For what it is it’s a great drill. Especially with a 5.0 battery

WAY BETTER than a hammer drill
If you're putting more than a few holes in concrete this is a no brainer, WAY BETTER than a hammer drill.

Be sure to use 5ah 18v batteries and carbon tip bits.
This tool has solved all of my problems with masonry drilling.Performed a job yesterday on 50 year old concrete in twenty minutes. Last time it took 2 hours with a standard hammerdrill.
