Tenba 638-272 Messenger 16-Inch Portable Padding Wrap for Lenses, Flashes and Camera Bodies (Olive)

I used to use Domke wraps, but over time they have started to fray on the edges (the way they sew thread over the edges may not be the best idea for protective wraps). All of my Domke wraps are fraying on the corners with loose threads sticking out everywhere. Aesthetically it's not great, but they still work. Anyway, I decided to look for some alternatives. I like Tenba's stuff (bags, etc.) so I figured I'd try these out since they were pretty economical. Initial unboxing gives a great impression. They're about 1.5x as thick as the Domke ones, but they compress so they can be packed and provide cushioning. Additionally, they seem to be sealed differently at the edges and have just a thick thread running parallel to the edges (not exposed to the edge or over the edge). Overall build quality appears much better than the Domke wraps and a 16" wrap covers up my Fujifilm X-E2 + 35mm/F2 lens very securely. So far so good - will update if there are any issues!

I bought this to protect my Olympus OM-D EM5 camera and pancake lens while stowed in my luggage. It's better than I expected. It's very sturdy and wraps my camera in a compact and very protective bundle. The bonus is that you can undo one flap of the envelope to remove your gear, and the wrap holds its shape, acting like a perfectly-sized camera bag. My only wish is that I could get the same thing in a thinner, softer fabric, so that it can be wrapped more tightly and made even more compact for times when I don't need quite as much protection as this one offers.

This works great when you don’t have your official camera bag with you. I went to Yosemite National Park and didn’t bring my camera backpack because it wasn’t technical enough for a long day hike. This padding wrap works great. It is easy to wrap and the velcro is great. I would recommend this product. It definitely gives you more flexibility to protect your equipment.

Still debating on whether or not I want to order the smallest version, since the 16-inch is actually a lot roomier than one might think for a Sony a6000. I've never been one for telephoto lenses, so I don't need the extra space. Having said that, the wrap itself is absolutely wonderful. I have the large version for my laptop (fits a 14" notebook perfectly, like an envelope). My bag is very well organized using these, and best of all - nobody knows what's in it, since it's a generic canvas messenger bag!

I adore this protective pouch. I use it to store my Olympus EM5mkII in my Timbuk2 Classic Messenger (medium) bag and it works like a charm. I'm able to make a pouch that fits the camera perfectly with the 12-40 2.8 lens on it and it has made it so I never need to use camera inserts that waste space again. The best part about these is that they can be used as shown with the soft side face out, or soft side face in (the way I use it) depending on your preference. I have never worried about my camera being damaged while using this as its just as thick (if not more) than most camera inserts. I also bought a 10in wrap which I have turned into a small lens cup for a second prime lens like the Olympus 25mm f1.8 or Panasonic 14mm f2.5. These pouches are great if you want to convert a standard backpack or messenger bag into a sleeper camera bag. Or as I do, make a hybrid. I'm able to carry my MBP, charger, hard drive, and multiple folders and note books all while also having a professional camera on me at all times. Its a great compromise.

This well made, yet inexpensive equipment wrap protects an iPad or mid range fast telephoto from knicks when in an unpadded case. A bonus is its water resistance; found out by accident when I accidentally spilled part of my drink on an iPad wrapped in the 16" version. The cover needed to be simply dried off and kept what it was protecting very dry. Please not this is protection against bumps and occasional water spray, not immersion. Another well made product from Tenba at a reasonable price. The 10" version is perfect for my Leica M7 and 8" for my Leica X1.

Really a life saver and makes traveling so much easier. I try not to travel with a camera bag and use whatever fits the weather and city I'm in. I place a camera and a roll of film in this and take off for the day. The padding is adequate and the velcro quite secure. Used it on a half dozen trips now and so glad I got this to cut down on packing space.

It's a little bulky but is nice and protective. As a trade-off for the bulkiness, it does fit a lot: you could put the a6000 in here with a large zoom on it. And the velcro is nice and sticky.

一眼レフ用に使用しています。 望遠レンズでも単焦点レンズでも包み方で対応できるので非常に便利です。 カメラ使用時は、折りたたんでバッグに入れられます。（厚みがあるのであるていどはかさばりますが） 通常のカメラケースより保護力は劣るのかもしれませんが、私としては十分な厚さだと感じました。

Les sacoches c'est moche et moi je mets mon appareils dans mon sac à dos : ce tissus bien épais protège parfaitement mon FUJI E2. Il faut faire attention aux sangles de l'appareil et aux éléments en plastique pour ne pas quils frottent et abîment l'appareil pendant le transport

Es tremendamente util para proteger los equipos, muy comoda de usar y resitente. Lo del cierre velcro en los extremos es muy práctico

今回この商品を購入したのはカメラの保護のためではなく、ハードカバーの本を持ち歩くため…勉強のためにハードカバーの本をリュックに入れて持ち歩きますが、そのままだとどうしても安定が悪く、ほかの荷物に押されたりして本が傷んでしまいます。この商品はお弁当箱を包む要領でささっとラッピングできるところがとても良いです。以前は本当にお弁当用のものを使っていましたが裏側が保温用のアルミシートでちょっと恥ずかしかった…これは色もシックでとても気に入っています。
