The results are excellent, the quality will last, more "upgraded" than I thought
I've seen these at local DIY stores BUT, they aren't the same as this model. Saw one which had ONE infrared plate and the rest were grills. This unit is completely infrared, a "grate" feature. This unit suits me. It's got an adequate spring metal piece to balance the propane tank, keeping the weight of the tank on the frame. That's fine but, I LOVE the fact the tank connector is on the outside! I wanted a 30lb propane tank from Ace hardware or here on Amazon. The cabinets fitting will NOT accommodate a 30lb tank, however; the outside connector easily does with the propane tank on a solid surface. The main cooking box is of fine quality. The infrared works as advertised. I saw "Two Fat Ladies" wannabe judging this grill on YouTube, and they moaned about how much smoke pours out the back. Better than having the smoke blast you in the face when you open it, I say. Plus, I just cooked my first Sirloin on the grill and man, it came out awesome! I did notice that opening the grill causes 100-degrees to instantly drop from the temperature. Therefore, I'd recommend learning the exact timing of different cuts and products to avoid opening the lid often. I like my steak medium-rare. The unit gets to 550 degrees within 4 minutes. Put the steak in 5 minutes on side A, flip it once for side B, 5 minutes...BAM! Perfect, on my first try! Medium-rare, juicy and had some decent char! I like the char. Thought I'd miss charcoal for that reason alone. Nope. And there is a smoker box peripheral for this unit? Cool. What don't I like about this grill? Like I said, my adaptations serve my desires exactly and, I'm grateful for them. The thoroughly even-heat comes at a price, which breaks down to money. Weber uses thicker steal and they cost twice as much. They hold the heat twice as long but, I say, "So what?". I turn the burns on when cooking and off when I'm done. I'm not using this grill as a slow cooker! Ask me anything about the grill and if I can, I'll answer. I recommend this grill as a GREAT Value for price paid. I'll even give up my best tenderizing secrets, just for you reading this:The more you spend, the better the cut, right? NO! The FDA grades meat on LOOKS, which is sad. Select is crap. Choice is "meh" and Prime is "The best". But, it's not. Most Ribeye sold in the US are tough. Why? Because the majority don't know the difference between LONG strings and button fat. Long veins which look like fat, aren't. They're gristle. Short, ball-like white deposits, that's steak-butter, aka: Fat. More fat is more tender. More gristle is more tough. Winn-Dixie sells the best beef and is less expensive than Sams Club.Gallon-size ziplock bag: Lime juice, red wine, Blueberry yogurt and sour creme. Marinate the ribeye, sirloin or strip for 4 hours. Two hours if at room temperature. Can you leave it overnight? Sure, in refrigeration. Wash off the marinate, dry completely! Sea salt, fresh black pepper, onion power and/or garlic. Grill as you like. You'll be amazed!!

Nice grill
The grill is as advertised. It gets very hot fast and will stay that way. Once you get it up to temp, back off your level of heat. Once you figure that out, the grill works like a dream!

Works great but Smokey
Took almost an hour to assemble. Happy with the heat and even cooking. Did come with a dent but too big to try to exchange. I wish the propane tank was better hidden.Update: One quirk we don’t love is this grill produces an extreme amount of smoke. With the infrared plates, grease can’t just drip down into the flames. Instead it sizzles and smokes on the plates causing us to smoke out anyone trying to enjoy their evening on the patio. Husband has to roll it far away from the house to use it.

Great product
Just what I was looking for. Larger than I thought, assembled pretty easily, some pieces already assembled. Works great using it three times a week.

Well worth the money
Excellent grill I like the indirect heat prevents the flare ups and the burning that I always have problems with one of the best grills I've ever owned
