Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 54 CB334AN (2 Black)

DOES NOT REPLACE hp54 FAILED AND PRODUCTED PRINTER ERRORS

A bit disappointed in the packaging and product description. I purchased for resale. They should be in individual boxes. The listing does not say they are just sealed in plastic. and shipped in a bubble mailer. If you are buying this cartridge because you can no longer buy original HP 54 ink you will want to check to see if your machine can use the HP 21 which is still readily available for many of the models that used the HP 54 ink.

These cartridges continue to be a must-have for our office due to our high volume of fax usage. Generally speaking, we've rarely had major problems with these items, and those rare issues have been addressed appropriately by the seller(s). Not a 5 star product because we have yet to see a cartridge truly yield as many pages as promised. Though the prices tend to fluctuate, they are almost always worth it (compared to their overpriced OEM counterparts).

I HAD HEARD ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE NOT HAVING GOOD RESULTS WITH THESE REMANUFACTURED INK CARTRIDGES BUT THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THEM A TRY BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY. THE PAGES PRINTED OUT VERY LIGHT AND SPOTTY...LIKE THE INK WAS DRIED OUT. MY HUSBAND RUNS A MOBILE TOOL BUSINESS AND IS VERY BUSY...HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO MESS AROUND WITH STUFF LIKE THIS. HE WAS SO MAD WHEN IT WOULDN'T PRINT PROPERLY THAT HE PULLED IT OUT OF THE PRINTER AND THREW IT AWAY ALONG WITH THE OTHER ONE (CAME AS A 2 PACK). HE TOLD ME NOT TO BUY ANYMORE REMANUFACTURED CARTRIDGES.

Works just fine. You may need to remove and re-install. The only alternative to greedy printer manufacturers and their attempts to hold you hostage. Not 5 stars simply because there is no way for any aftermarket manufacturer or re-manufacturer to be perfectly compatible with the draconian software "system" surrounding the printer. So you get the warnings, cautions, etc., and must periodically ignore them and make them go away.

I have to agree that the recent purchase of these items work very spotty... Some pages half print and fade out... Next page prints OK. Do not expect HP quality. First cartridge emptied fast. Much faster then usual. You do not have much choice however as HP doesnt seem to want to make this item any longer.

In a couple of cases my printer has read an error since I installed this re-manufactured cartridge but I simply removed the cartridge, blew it off, and re-installed it and it worked just fine again. In my opinion that's a very small sacrifice with respect to the amount of money saved and I will continue to buy the re-manufactured cartridges.

At first, did not work, but after several sheets of paper, they came around and started working. Before that, colors were missing.
