Mattel Classic Baseball Game

OMG! My brother will be sooooo happy when he unwraps this on Christmas Eve! He happens to be 40 years old but it's all about nostalgia. It'll take him right back to Christmas Eve, 1979 when he and my other, older brother received Mattel games. One received the football version of this game and of course this same brother, at 8 years old received this very same game. I was amazed at the quality and at how nothing had changed about this game. That's what makes it so great. The only part that surprised me is that the football game is more than double the price of this one.

This stopped working about 4 minutes into the 1st time I played it. Garbage….

If you're around my age (36) chances are you or someone you knew had one of these when you were a kid. It may be simple technology, but sometimes simple is best. At the time in history when this was first Introduced (around 1977) it was revolutionary because until then if you wanted to play video games you had to go to the arcade; you could take this anywhere and that made it a big deal.I still think its as fun as ever, and my kids like it too. I don't think you can go wrong with this,if you like basic games, or if your "from" the 70's or 80's its a piece of history and certainly brings a feeling of nostalgia; it's a home run!

Received the game very quickly was so happy. It was in perfect condition & just like I remembered it as a child. Its a basic electronic baseball game you push the button to pitch and you push the button to hit. But I purchased this because it reminds me of my father when I was a little girl. When I just look at it or hear the sound it brings back so much. Its like my dad is here with me again! Thank you so much! Perfect Transaction!!

Love this game! It was in even better condition than I expected and works like brand new. Great nostalgic game from my childhood. My son & i play against each other & have a blast. He thinks its cool that we're playing a game that i used to play when i was his age. Thank you very much!

I bought this for my son because I had it when I was young and it was the only electronics we had! And I was so happy to have it, I took it everywhere. Turns out, my son liked it too! He has all of these fancy electronics but spent a lot of time playing with this.

My grandson and I both enjoy this classic baseball game. The "run" button worked well on only 1 of the 2 that we purchased and had to be returned. The game is hours of fun.
