This gave a nice, wide solder joint
I bought these to repair my Braun 7526 shaver that stopped charging recently. My experience matches other reviews in that the batteries worked perfectly and my shaver is working flawlessly again! They were a little low on charge upon arrival and after installation were warm (not hot though!) during initial charging. Other reviews talk about altering the tabs but I left them alone. My approach was to clip the OEM battery leads, install these new batteries upside down (tabs facing away from the circuit board), and then bend the new battery tabs 90 degrees down to connect to the old tabs. This gave a nice, wide solder joint, removed the need to alter the delicate tabs on the new batteries, and helped to minimize undesired heat affecting the new batteries.

One tab was too wide
The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because one of the tabs was just a tiny bit (1 or 2 mm) too wide to fit into the slot for it ion the PC card of my razor, so I had to trim that down before it would install. Now that it's installed everything else works great. Everything fits fine and it's holding a charge just like a new razor.

New Shaver
I bought two and replaced the batteries in my Braun 7526. Quick shipping in a padded envelope. It was very easy to do and I now a new shaver! The disassembly is easy with 4 torqx screws (http://youtu.be/D6jRpCnB8T4). The inside of the razor was a mess with dust/wiskers and was a good opportunity to clean all the parts with a small vacuum or paint brush. I removed the board with the batteries on it and cut the first two metal tabs where they attach to the batteries, leaving some of these old tabs protruding from the board. Make sure you note the polarity of the existing batteries (small round tab for + and larger for minus) before you remove them. The two battreies are in opposite directions on the board. Then take a small screw driver and gently pry out the two batteries, as they are rubber cemented to the board. Then you can cut the remaining two tabs, again leaving some of the tab protruding from the board. I then removed the plastic sleave from the tabs on the new batteries and trimmed them. I soldered the trimmed off tabs of the new batteries to the tabs left protruding from the board. This is much easier than trying to completely desolder the old tabs from the board.

You'd be better off just using AA rechargeables instead
First of all they are not the same as pictured, secondary the capacity I've got was not 1650 but 1450, thirdly they are not specific to Braun shaver, these just generic AA low-capacity rechargeable batteries and two metal tabs soldered on each end and that's it. They do not fit Braun shaver without modification, you have to cut and trip tabs to fit it in PCB. You will be better off by just just taking two 2500 mAh AAs and soldering two correct sized tabs on both ends. These are overpriced rebrabded cheap NiCad AA rechargeable batteries and have nothing special to it.

Bring new life to worn out razor batteries
These are prefect. I replaced my Braun batteries, charged the new ones and it is still running 2 weeks later. I decided to fix my dad’s razor too, oops only ordered one battery. Oh well, ordering one more now

Seems to be working great, still, after four months.
All I can say so far is that the charge seems to be comparable to the manufacturer's original batteries and they're still working fine. Note that it's worth paying some extra money for these 'tabbed' batteries instead of trying to solder in regular batteries. The metal tab seems to be pretty necessary to keep you from frying the battery if you were to attempt to solder the shaver wires directly onto the battery terminals.

Not compatable with 7000 series.
I bought these for a 7526 shaver from QRW Solutions and Fulfilled by Amazon. The listing states that these batteries are comparable with the 7000 series shavers. While the physical size of the battery is the same, the OEM battery is rated at 1.5v and the ones that were sent to me were 1.2v. The razor seems to function properly with them in place but I'm worried that the OEM charger will overcharge them and cause damage (or fire). I also had to cut down the width of the tabs, which were about 50% too large for the application.

Keep Shaving
I installed this battery approximately three weeks ago and used it for two weeks in my Norelco shaver before it needed charging. The original battery lasted a long time but in its final days had to be charged after every second use.Note; The original battery is a little tricky to remove, you have to have the right tools and a little know how, once out the replacement battery fits perfectly, you just have to re-solder and reassemble and you are back in business.I gave the product 4 stars because it's new and it is too early to tell how long it will last, but so far it,s great.
