Great quality boots HOWEVER..
Great real leather quality boots, however they are 1 pound heavier than what the description says. I ordered a size 9, for which weight was supposed to be 2.9lbs and they actually are 3.9lbs. That's not a minor difference. If you plan to walk with this boots, even small distances, and you are not used to heavy work boots don't buy these. I usually wear size 9 but I wouldn't have regreted it if I had ordered a medium size smaller. Boots are made enterely from leather, thats great and means quality, but also means they are not warm enough for winter. For the somewhat cold days they should be fine with some wool socks.

Awesome fit, perfectly comfortable after a couple of "wears"
Awesome fit, perfectly comfortable after a couple of "wears". All day comfort. Great looking, I don't usually bother to write about products. Buying shoes online was a bit risky, and these aren't readily available where I shop. VERY well made, Perfect. I got these and the 20028. Same perfect fit and comfort.

Made in USA
Excellent quality and great boots so far. Little bit of breaking in needed but that goes with the territory. Great American made product.

Fits nice, sized as all other boots I've purchased
Fits nice, sized as all other boots I've purchased. Break-in only took two days. The stitching is uneven around the front of the right boot, costing a star, I'll update if it becomes a problem. I work in a machine shop and they seem to work well at not collecting chips, although small stones from a gravel drive often collect in the tread.

They are amazing in every way
The boots are phenomenal. You will likely want to add an insole such as Superfeet, but this is in no way a knock against the boots. They are amazing in every way. Buy with confidence, you won't regret it.

Chippewa 6 inch Crazy Horse Rugged Boot.
This is my second pair, my first pair was the Apache ( really the same boot ) I wore it for two years and the boot is still ok just worn out obviously. I do mantrailing with my Bloodhound so I walk in water, mud etc... the boot never let me down or fell apart - best boot without going into a 3-400 dollar category and they look great - even worn.

Buy Chippewa. Buy America. Buy Quality.
Chippewa is an American Classic. Established in 1901 in Wisconsin, they've been around long enough to be boots your grand dad wore, and he sure was a badass, wasn't he? Let's face it. Without these boots, you may not be here. I found a pair of their boots on sale in a Burlington Coat Factory two years ago, and I never looked back. I've always been able to get good deals on their brand here on Amazon. Their products are built to last and are American Strong. I wear my boots every day, all day. Sure, like any shoe, they'll wear a bit over time. That's a badge of honor. I get compliments on my boots on a consistent basis. I try to maintain the leather with some inexpensive saddle soap every now and then. After all day use every day for years, I've had some of the laces break on me -- sure. Just buy some new laces. The sole wears out inside of the shoe after several months of constant use. No problem. I buy an American Made sole from Amazon, and I'm back in business. For me, I've always bought a Chippewa that was a half size bigger, because when I put a new, thicker sole in, it actually pushes my foot upward a little bit more towards the roof of the shoe. Allows my foot to breathe a little more. The size of the shoes are true to nature, and they feel great. They look good, and you'll not regret your decision. I've got two new pairs cooling in my closet for a rainy day (not literally). On that note, these ALSO have amazing traction in rain, rock, and pavement -- pretty much everywhere.By the way, other brands like Detroit and Timberland are nice and all, but you don't want nice, do you? You want rugged, hard-working, and manly. Confidence. Look no further.Just buy a pair already. Stop reading this review, and head west, young man!
