PERRY SUSPENDERS 2" Original

I'm not a huge fan of the "suspender look" but I decided to give these a try. It is SOOOO nice not having to constantly pull up my pants. Easy to put on and take off.

After buying (and having to return) the cheap suspenders I found these. They are US made and high quality. No detaching hooks like others. Very easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. Wish they made a thin pair for summer but otherwise very pleased.

The only pair of suspenders I will ever buy for work is the perry brand. It doesn’t cause wear and tear on the waist band, doesn’t come loose (or let you down), and the stretch supports holds up better than any product offered by the competition. When I found these, I was frustrated for sure. My sons used to laugh that when I was working every 140 seconds I would adjust my pants (yes they timed it over and over). I had tried other suspenders but the alligator clips just wore out the east bands, moving the clips around only created more problems. The perry is designed for use and function. Another benefit of these is there are times when I don’t want a 40 pound tool belt but need to have some tools. But if you are on a ladder, or going through a cramped attic/crawlspace you still needs hands and tools. The toughbuilt tool pouches (available on Amazon) are independent and come with a universal belt attachment. Since the Perry’s grab at the belt, the toughbuilt system is the perfect complement. The Perry’s also fit, they don’t rub and I will honestly forget I am even wearing them. If there is one flaw, it is the width of the back bracket. If your pants have wider loops and a loop in the dead center, it can be a little difficult to hook, but once hooked it’s no big deal. What’s more I don’t have to adjust my britches every 140 seconds. If you haven’t tried the perry brand, you should. Perry also makes 2 point suspenders which I wear as well. You cannot go wrong.

I have had and used the smaller width perry suspenders for years. I have lost weight and needed to down size. This pair has two inch straps to the front which is fine for my needs. I wear them when working outside on the yard and mowing grass etc. I like the fact that they hook easily to the belt and just as easily can be un-hooked when the job is done. However: The gap on the buckles of the front straps is too large and this allows the strap to unbuckle on its own. I have taken to twisting them around backwards so the clip in on the inside of the belt to prevent this but it is not an ideal solution. I plan on taking a heat gun and if it is a thermoplastic I should be able to soften and close the gap down some. My previous perry suspenders didn't have this problem and the gap on the front straps was tighter. UPDATE: Using a heat gun set to 750 degrees I laid the buckles on a work table with the clip side up. Pressing down on the clip with a metal rod laid parallel to the buckle I carefully heated the top of the buckle. Within a few seconds the plastic clip yielded and I was able to press the clip down flush with the arms. I removed the heat while maintaining pressure with the metal rod and allowed the clip to cool for 20 seconds or so. The clip had some spring back but the gap was much smaller. That seems to make the fit on my belt snugger and more secure.. If the gap is still too much then the next time I will use the metal rod vertical to the clip and push the clip all the way to the table top not just flush with the arms and see if that works better. Edit 2: Have been using these suspenders for various jobs and they are working great. The buckles stay clipped to the belt. The two inch wide straps are very comfortable across the shoulders. Would give these a 5 star rating if they didn't require the modification.

a friend turned me on to these suspenders and I really like them. Easy to clip on, comfortable, secure. I especially like the width.

After buying to many sets of " heavy-duty, contractor-grade " metal clip suspenders, I had to find another option to keeping my pants up. As someone who is in and out of my work truck, climbing into and out of heavy equipment, these suspenders are a godsend !!! I am 6'1" , 265 lbs.,and my torso is too long for my legs. ( submit jokes) I wear Dickies Carpenter pants with a leather belt. The suspenders have a sturdy plastic hook that goes under my belt and holds my pants on for dear life. The buckles haven't snagged on anything and let go from my belt, they haven't scratched my truck while reaching into the bed, and no one has complained about the guy waddling with his pants around his knees ! If I could buy stock I would. And I would be their best salesman. Honestly, I don't have to cinch my belt into my guts anymore, and I feel a little relaxed knowing I don't have to keep doing the pants-pull hip-hop. I am ordering the black pair for personal use. I did realize later that they keep my shirts from ballooning up on my motorcycle. Flaming edition for Christmas ! Yada yada yada - 10 stars - non-scratch clips, washable, wide and sturdy , colors and designs, ABSOLUTELY !!!

Some people are just built in such a way that their butts don't stay securely inside their pants - especially when bending over. We've all seen it and jokingly call it a plumber's crack. As luck would have it, one of my sons was blessed with such a butt. It doesn't matter what size or style pant he wears or what kind of belt he wears with them, when he bends over the moon comes out early. It's a problem. He has no desire to flash his bottom for all to see and yet if he happens to get a flat tire, watch out world! These suspenders by Perry are the perfect solution. They are designed to be worn with a rigid belt - and can ONLY be worn with a rigid belt (fabric or braided elastic belts won't work properly with these suspenders). The ends of the suspenders feature a hook-type fastener that you hook under your belt to keep the suspenders firmly in place and your butt in your pants. They work brilliantly and my son's posterior is now G-rated no matter how many times he has to bend down. This particular set features 2" wide elastic, but Perry makes them in 1 1/2" wide elastic, which looks a little dressier. I got the big and tall size since my son is over 6' and they adjust to fit perfectly. However, there is a lot of overlap in the adjustment so I suspect a regular size would have been just fine, too. If you or someone you love frequently moons the world unintentionally, consider these suspenders by Perry.

Pratique, tiens bien et s'enlève rapidement dans les moments pressent. J'installe comme un je d'enfant. Plus de pinces qui se détachent sans cesse. Je recommande !

Wish I had payed more attention to the listing ... I wanted Black.. Hey blue or Black they are still great suspenders.
