Well built
I use these on double high 2 x 12 x 12 garden beds. One bracket installed up for the bottom and the other installed facing down for the top. Screw them into a 2 foot 4 x 4 in the corners. works great, looks nice. They are a little longer than the 12 inch (11 3/4) board, so they over lap a little. When you screw them in two of the holes are on the same plane and the long so the 4 inch screws hit the other one and redirect themselves. They might break, but no problem with the 16 brackets I have installed so far. In the middle of the bed I use 1/2 inch black pipe with flanges on each end to keep the sides from spreading. One pipe where the two 2x's meet.

Wonderful finish and restoration to my raised bed garden boxes
These garden bed corners worked perfectly in my restoration of two 3' by 12' by 12" H garden boxes. The screws had begun to back out and a small amount of twisting after more than 10 years had occurred. After placing a bar clamp on the box end these bed corners slid in perfectly over the box corners and armed with deck screws I was able to quickly secure the boxes. I love the ease and the final look of the corners. My only disappointment was that the kit does not supply the number of screws to match the pre-drilled holes in the corner. So, I used deck screws that I had plenty of and ended up with a wonderful finish and restoration to my working raised flower beds.

Decent Quality, Not Enough Hardware
Decent Quality, Not Enough Hardware. They did not come with enough screws to fill every hole, only 4 per bracket. Four may be enough to secure the bracket but then there are a bunch of ugly empty holes. I had to buy extra hardware which is why only three stars. Another note, these are designed for conventional 2x lumber. I used rough cut cedar which is slightly thicker than standard. These brackets did not fit the rough cut without notching the lumber. I figured this ahead of time so I did not take points away for this.

Much better than expected
I needed six sets of brackets, but only ordered two sets because I was unsure of the quality. I received the first two sets and was pleasantly surprised. The photos do not do this product justice. Very sturdy metal with cleanly drilled holes, one tack weld on top to hold this corner together and excellent black paint job. I am positive that these will stand up to many years of use in the garden. All the pre-drilled holes assure you that you will be able to find plenty of available holes for pounding nails of screwing in screws.Update: 05/23/15Just finished putting in my garden. These corner brackets are working very well. No rust and the 2 x 12 boards are not warping at all. 2nd year in the garden and I remain very happy.Update 7/31/16I have attached a photo of one of my brackets which is just finishing its third garden season. Yes, it is a bit different looking than the photo supplied by the seller, but it works just the same. I spray painted mine copper just to match some other stuff in the garden. Boards are not warping which is why I got these. All my corners are rust free and six raised beds are tight and sturdy. I remain a huge advocate of these corners.6/13/19 updateI was just out putting in the last of the garden. I inspected all twelve of my corner brackets first installed 5 years ago. No rust. Everything is exactly the same as the day I installed these. I continue to highly recommend.7/15/20Six years in the garden and just as good as new. Probably will have to start replacing some of the 2X12 treated boards in the next couple of years, but these corners will continue on.

Work for intended purpose - some design flaws
Overall, these are working ok, and I'll say preferable over using a 2x4 or 4x4 internal corner brace when appearance matters. The advantage to a block of wood is you can just chop a bunch quickly, and blast in self taping screws, and be done in a jiff. The drawback is that you lose some internal space, and the corners look unfinished. Wood corner braces are also loads easier to assemble in-place, or on uneven ground.Overall these are sturdy enough. I had 2x10's on hand for free, so I used those instead of 2x12's. That left a metal "tail" on all the corners, which I just drove into the ground. They also look good for curb appeal. Some issues:1. as everyone has noted, they do not give enough screws to fill every hole. You don't really need to fill every hole, but more would be better. The screws are also a bit of a poor choice for this application. For one, you'll want to pre-drill, which is tedious, and for 2 they are a bit of a fine thread for wood, and Phillip's heads just need to die. I used the black provided screws on the front, and substituted decking screws for the back, so they're mostly uniform black from the front.2. They should have offset some holes. It's easy to get into a situation where you have two screws intersecting from adjacent sides, because the holes are in the same place. Take note of that, and pre-drill at slight angles, or just leave one of them without a screw. Really basic oversight. It's those 4 holes closest to the long corner3. Every single one of the spot welds on the top of the bracket has popped in less than week. Just the little bit of board warp you'll get from lumber getting wet, was enough to pop every weld. They should still hold up, but it would be better if that seam was welded. It would also look better.4. Could you stack them? Yes I suppose, but you'll still want to attach the levels to each other. If using 2x10's, maybe the lower tail that'll hang off would go around the corners of the lower level and brace it a bit, but with 2x12's, they'll just slide right off without some attachment. This is where a block of wood has a huge advantage, in that it can be as tall as you need it to be, and is much easier to adapt to uneven terrain. For smaller beds, or where I want a more finished look, I would probably get these again. For functional and larger raised beds, I'll just stick with a block of wood.

Helpful and looks great
I bought these to assemble a relatively small raised bed inside another raised bed. I was able to build the frame, using these corner brackets, in about 20 minutes. Since it was pretty small, I didn't have any issue with sturdiness of the structure. I did add some extra screws, as needed. I assembled it, upside down on a level surface, then had some help walking it out to the garden bed and flipped it over to place it. Made the assembly of the border much easier, and it gives the corners a nice, finished look.

Quick and painless way to build a raised garden bed
Edit: I am still very happy with this product 3 years later, however they cost 3 times more than what I paid right now (April 2020) so I was about to order more but it is definitely not worth over eighty four dollars.Original review:This is a great product. I did a 4x8 bed using two 2x6 on top of each other (for a total of 6 planks) and added a thinner board between them on the 8' sides so that both planks would stay aligned. This thing is solid, much more than the cheap cedar or plastic beds you can buy at your local lumberyard, and it took me less than an hour to assemble it all by myself, with only a drill and a circular saw used for two cuts. The only thing, since I used two 2x6 instead of 2x12 planks, I ran out of screws fairly quickly. I had some deck screws I was probably never going to use to I ended up using them, but keep that in mind, you will want to buy extras when you buy the wood. This product is really 12" tall, so if you use 2 x 2x6 you will have about an inch left, but the excess metal is shaped in a way that will let you dig in the soil when you put it in its final place, so there is no gap under the wood. Not sure if it was done on purpose, but it's great!

Have you priced raised bed corner brackets?
These are wonderful and the price was amazing for sets of four. I highly recommend these. I have 2x10's at the bottom and 2x4's at the top. With modern wood cutting, my bed heights total 13 inches. Perfect. So very glad I bought these. The beds are a pleasure to see now. I would go even higher, but, oh, the cost of lumber now.

good to hold them together but don't expect this to ...
very thin material, good to hold them together but don't expect this to be the master piece.

Easy to use and great finished product.
The only drawback is the screws provided are pretty flimsy and not weather proof. Just make sure you have some decking screws to complete the job.
