i did not check for right fit, this one is shorter than the one on my dishwasher ,but mickeymoused a little and instead of running it to the 2 pulleys only wrapped around one and it's working...

This did the trick.
Looks to be identical to the snapped cord one it replaced (except for being in one piece). The spring on that side was still in good condition as was the rope and swing on the other side of the dishwasher. Our Samsung dishwasher door now closes properly.

URBAN INSPIRATION is no INSPIRATION
Product inadequate & defective, broke after weeks of usage. Fits the appliance but DOES NOT SUPPORT DOOR WEIGHT. URBAN INSPIRATIONS hides behind ‘’so called business policy’’ 30 days return of Supplier and will not refund even after repeated polite requests. URBAN INSPIRATION refused to return the product to supplier.In my opinion, URBAN INSPIRATION is no INSPIRATION TO ME and IS NOT a reliable supplier for the Amazon’s clients.Bad experience as the product was totally unusable, inadequate and again, broke only after weeks of usage.
