Excellent Folding Chairs
We had gotten these chairs before, a few years back, and they are rock solid, resistant to damage, fold and unfold easily, and are much more comfortable than most folding chairs. Be very careful when making the purchase: these are "Mesh-One" chairs and differ from "Flex-One" chairs (same manufacturer, Mity Lite); Mesh One chairs are more expensive than Flex One, but worth it. When searching online for the Mesh One chairs, "Flex-One" often shows up and looks like a great price deal, but they are not as comfortable, lacking the mesh which has a nice amount of "give" so that it presents to your body a basically soft surface, quite different than, for example, the common metal or wood folding chairs or various plastics. The Amazon purchase price (just over $50/chair for a pack of four) is the best deal around; these chairs are "rated" at over $100 standard retail price. The four-pack comes in a large cardboard box with four chairs loosely placed, two of the chairs have a plastic bag over them to prevent the chairs directly rubbing against one another, and they come out of the shipped carton in good shape. These chairs are a bit heavy; lighter than typical folding metal chairs by a few ounces, but the solid construction comes with a bit of weight (they are about 10 pounds each). I personally think these are more comfortable for studio seating (e.g., setting up chairs to watch an event) than for long-sitting at a table or desk (as a substitute for a regular non-folding chair), where you might be leaning forward rather than sitting back. The real comfort of these chairs is when you use both the seat and the back to distribute your weight against the mesh. I think you won't be disappointed with these chairs.

Comfortable and strong
After a few weeks of using these chairs daily:--- They are comfortable. The mesh is taut but flexible, and compared with a hardwood or plastic bottomed chair, it feels terrific to sit in these chairs.--- They are sturdy. This chair's looks are a little deceiving, in that you could imagine it's less sturdy than it is. It has nice feet and feels rooted to the floor. A 200 lb guy with a 50 lb kid in his lap is not going to make this chair wobble in the least. Beyond that I'm not going to test it, but let's just say these chairs are not "flimsy" like some folding chairs. Would I step on them like a ladder? No. Please use them for sitting.--- Will they pass the test of time? Seems like it. Unlike another reviewer, I see no signs of mesh detachment. I have two kids under 8 and despite their otherwise angelic demeanor they can be pretty hard on furniture. So far their encounters with these chairs have not led to premature material failure. If you regularly sit with scissors or pocket knives unfurled in your back pocket, you may not be so lucky. Also, if you are using these chairs near projects (think: play-dough) or food, be aware that squishy stuff can be squished *through* the mesh. We have found that they are not very hard to clean, however, so this is not much of a deterrent.Lastly, we are using these as "extra chairs" - so while they see a lot of action, they aren't set up as the primary chairs for any purpose. They get folded up and stored until there are enough people over to warrant bringing them out. They're light, easy to fold and move, and I expect we'll have them for a long time.I definitely would buy these chairs again. Recommended if you need extra chairs around the house.

chairs are falling apart
We purchased these chairs as extras for clients to sit in at our business when necessary. They get very little usage and within 2 months are falling apart where the mesh meets the frame on the upper backs. We sent one in which cost half of what the chair itself cost in shipping. Now before even getting that one back, another one is doing the same thing. There is a 10 year warranty but I would rather have a chair that doesn't fall apart than one that keeps needing to be sent in.I like the size of the chairs and they feel great but would not purchase again.

Excellent folding chair
We bought these to use at home as spare chairs for visitors. They are wonderful chairs. The chairs are very comfortable and very solid. They don't feel like folding chairs. The seat is firm, but yields at one's pressure points. The seat is firm enough that they're easy to get up out of.The seat height is perfect for most uses. Works well at a dining table if you add a cushion. It's a good option for choral rehearsals, with great support is you need to use the back, and a seat that's firm enough to allow the singer to maintain good posture without discomfort. It's just high enough for a tall cellist, as well, though I prefer to add a little height. The difference between the MeshOne and FlexOne models is the material used for the seat and back. The manufacturer has discontinued the FlexOne model, but that model was really good as well. I've sat on FlexOne chars in many meetings and rehearsals. It looks like there are still good deals on old stock of the FlexOne.

Perfect!
We had the whole family over to our house for the holidays and needed to boost our chair-count while not breaking the bank. These chairs are exactly what I was looking for. They are shockingly comfortable and have a nice modern look to them. I wanted to avoid that cheap-folding-chair look and these definitely are a step above that. They stack very nicely and their sleek profile doesn't make them an eyesore if you have to store them in the corner of the room. The quality is great: the chairs have a solid weight to them yet are still very easy to move and store. The construction is SOLID and we have noticed no signs of wear after consistent use. I was concerned that the mesh would not be very secure and might start to "peel-back" or fray, but to the contrary the mesh seems to be almost molded into the body of the chair and very sturdy! I wouldn't recommend it, but you could probably stand on one if you really wanted to. The chairs arrived in no-time, right to our door, ready to go right out of the box. Could not be more pleased.
