Add it to your coffee grounds, or brew it like tea, or both. But I wish they had an instant powder version, because the fiber is excellent. It might be possible to re-grind it in a coffee grinder. I can't remember if that worked or not. Or in a blender. It adds a pleasant bitter taste, while neutralizing the acid in the coffee.

I have enjoyed the addition of Chicory in coffee since I tried it in New Orleans. I have not been able to find it in the stores so grateful to see it on Amazon. It adds a smooth richness, and removes bitterness. I add about 3 tablespoons to each 8 oz of ground coffee. If you have beans just put them together in the grinder. It reminds me of the coffee at Cafe du monde. It will also need a little extra sugar and heavy cream. Then enjoy!

Once you've had chicory in your coffee, you'll think you are drinking water without it. Chicory adds so much richness and will make even the cheapest coffee taste gourmet. I highly recommend you give this product a try. I add just a 3rd of the bag to 1lb of my brand of coffee so you'll get enough for 3 bags of coffee. A little goes a long way. It's even really good on his own.

This is much stronger, per measure, than coffee. When mixed with coffee (as recommended) use much less of the combination than you would of the coffee alone. I like the slightly mellower flavor, and until I bestir myself to dry and grind some chicory roots from my own yard, I'll continue to use this.

Too expensive for the quantity. I love chicory, but I don’t understand why on earth it’s so expensive. It’s endive root.

It gives the coffee a slightly chocolate taste and makes it less bitter.

Well I wanted to try chicory and I did. It's a bit too strong for my taste. I tried using less and it was still bitter. I've always heard that once you try chicory you'll never want to drink coffee without it. That wasn't my experience though and I like my coffee strong. I think I've concluded that it's just not for me. Nothing against the product personally!

This tastes like how you wish coffee would taste based on the aroma of coffee.
