This smells amazing. This cinnamon is perfect for fall!

This stuff is amazing. It smells wonderful, it tastes wonderful. And if you were not aware, this is one of the main oils that were used in Biblical times to anoint priestly robes. This is what Christ, as the ultimate high priest, probably smells like in his heavenly role. In addition to its healing properties, it has a central nervous stimulation effect that gives energy like caffeine without the shakiness or the buzz of caffeine. I've found it helpful for mental alertness and energy, and that's saying something, since I struggle with chronic fatigue. Its dark cinnamon-like tones are warm, soothing, and energizing all at once. Plus it is affordable. I like to mix it with frankinscence and myrrh for the perfect blend.

If you use this topically, mix two drops with an unscented lotion or coconut oil. If you use it in its pure form on your skin it burns. I had to use Benadryl cream as my skin started to raise. Use it in a diffuser.

I love essential oils and ordered this knowing nothing about the scent, and just took a chance on it. I had never heard of Cassia before. Anyway, I saw the flower on the label and assumed it was a floral scent, which I love. I had no idea that Cassia is actually a bark that is harvested. Now I know after googling though. Anyway, to describe the scent the best I will say it smells like Snickerdoodle cookies being baked. The smell is beyond amazing. I cannot get over how tasty it smells. I am 100% in love with this scent. It made my house smell amazing! It is a cinnamon cookie-like smell that is wonderful. I have had lots of favorite essential oil scents lately, but this one is mind-blowing.

I bought this for one of my sisters who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and is constantly in pain. When I go see her she usually has a compression band somewhere on her arm joints, hand joints, knees, foot. I feel so sorry for her since she’s always in pain. I mixed it for her with a little bit of coconut oil because it is too strong and it burns if you don’t mix it. I only applied two tiny drops to a teaspoon of oil and I rubbed it where she had pain. She said in about 15 minutes the pain was gone. Now she uses it every day when she’s hurting somewhere.

I ordered this as a recommendation to treat tinea versicolor which is a skin condition that causes white spots on the body due to lack of melanin. ANYWAY, turns out I don't have tinea versicolor after all. So I never really got around to trying this oil out. Guess I'll invest in an oil diffuser or something since I won't be needing this for my skin. Can't really give much feedback since I haven't used it.
