These mason tap tops are extremely useful and do the job perfectly. I was worried about leaking when pouring out my olive oil and vinegar, but this hasn't been a problem at all. I used to just pour the olive oil/vinegar straight out of the jar (I buy it in bulk locally, package-free, so this is why I felt this product would be helpful), but this is by far superior. For those worrying about leaking - I think other reviewers are talking about leaks happening when shaking the jar to mix up ingredients? Honestly, I don't know why anyone would think that a tap would prevent leaks (maybe I missed this claim in the product description?) I don't know of any oil/vinegar tap that is suitable for shaking, but to each their own... Basically, I highly recommend this product and think you will be impressed by its ease of use. If you need to shake, just use your jar's original lid, then switch it. Problem solved...

This is a neat little gadget for anyone who enjoys making salad dressing or syrups from scratch. I use this for dressings, syrups and cooking oil. I don't have a problem with the lid leaking, but when storing vinegary dressing for an extended time, the top can start to corrode and get a rusty smell, it always washes away though. An easy fix would be using dressings in a few days rather than a week or more.

I was hesitant to spend this much on the product but am happy I did. We have a large collection of mason jars and try to always find practical uses for them. I buy the large tin of olive oil and it's hard to pour out of the huge container, so put it in a mason jar with this and voila, perfect spout. I want to buy more for vinegar and such...but with the price I'm going to hold off for a bit.

Very disappointed that mine arrived with the cap missing. The top of the spout makes it obvious that the cap is intended to be attached (i.e., flip cap) - so even though I can find a plastic cap, the spout is damaged. Fabulous idea! Product protective packaging fail

When I received my product one of them was broken the flip top was completely broken off. I was disappointed because I wanted to have two, but now only one works. There is not even a way to fix the item. With the price I was hoping for a little better quality.

good job on this one. Thoughtfully designed works as it is supposed to even has a seal no leaks.I am giving 4 stars because it's pricy and would have liked it if they included a stainless steel screw ring.

Hard to keep it from pouring to much out

Wow what cool gadget! I bought a couple, there so handy especially with all my fresh garden herbs and vegies! I got the Infuse cookbook. It had a lot of great recipes and ideas!

Great product, pours really fast and accurately but the way the shipped it was terrible, just in a thin bubble package. Mine came with the little clip lid bent and off which fell on the floor and as soon as I pulled it out of the envelope. I have 4" needle nose pliers and carefully bent it back straight and reattached the lid but this could have been delivered a pancake packaged like it was so I consider myself lucky. Would have been 5 star if it was shipped in a small cardboard box instead of the bubble wrap envelope.

We transfer maple syrup from a can to a mason jar and use this tap. It works great and looks cool too.
