This is the first time I've tried this eye liner, but I had to try it since it's a liquid eye liner with a nice small tip and had such great reviews. I put it on and tried out a few different styles on my eyes. It's easy to apply but also easy to mess up since it's so thin and shows up so easily. But if you take your time and go in small dashes to start you will be fine. It goes on fairly dark the first swipe and gets darker if you go over it, so you have more control than you'd expect in a black liquid eye liner. I love that you can press lightly with the tip and get an extremely thin line, or press harder and get a thicker line. You can even change the angle of how you hold it and go more sideways and get a very thick line. This eye liner is VERY versatile. I was able to do every type of eye liner style I wanted (with a little trial and error of course, it's my first time using it). Very impressive that you can do so many styles with it. With regards to how long it lasts, I didn't keep it on all day. But it seems like it would definitely stay on all day because as soon as I let it dry fully I wiped it with my finger and it didn't move or come off. One of my eyes was watering a bit, and the liner didn't stay well where my eye had watered a little, but I think it's because the liner wasn't able to fully adhere to my skin and/or wasn't able to fully dry to stay in place. But wherever my eye didn't water and my other non-watering eye stayed in place even when I wiped it with my finger. I got really excited because I can't stand makeup that moves or smears or comes off easily/isn't waterproof and this seemed perfect - and then I got really worried. How on Earth would I get this eye liner off??? I quickly grabbed an organic cotton ball and my Simple brand Cleansing Micellar Water. The Micellar Water says to not get it in your eyes, and so I carefully put a bit on the cotton ball so it wasn't too saturated and wiped my eye. I was really surprised at how easily and completely it came off! I have found my dream liquid eye liner and makeup remover. Perfect combination!

I really love this eyeliner. It goes on smoothly and makes it easy to create clean, precise lines. I like that I can make my eyeliner as thin or as bold as I want without it looking messy. The color stays put all day, so I don't have to worry about it fading or smudging. It is a little more expensive than some other eyeliners I've tried, but the quality is worth the extra cost. I would definitely buy it again.

I've been wearing eyeliner since high school. I'm Japanese, and I love that cat-eye look. But two things drove me crazy: 1) I have a natural eye fold, but it's not large enough to prevent creasing, and 2) most eyeliner has a bulky brush attached to the screw cap that is awful and clumpy. Enter...Stila Liquid Eyeliner. This baby is like a fine sumi ink brush. It goes on like rich, smooth, delicious Sharpie ink. The blacks are bold and intense. The brush doesn't clog or clump or leave flecks of dried eyeliner in your eyes. You can draw a cat-eye. You can draw fake eyelashes. Heck, you can draw tiny designs in the corner of your eyes if you want! And it will stay there all day, in the rain and swimming pool and humidity and sweat, until you remove it with makeup cleanser. Or, if you've had a crazy day and crash on the sofa, you'll wake up with flawless eyeliner (even if your foundation looks like crap). And it lasts, too! I wear a thick band of eyeliner on the tops and bottoms, plus a cat-eye wing, everyday and one stick lasts me a month or two. You can put it on the bottom eyeline as well. I would NOT recommend you line your waterline with it though. The black comes out liquidy (hence the beautiful thin lines), so if it touches your water line it will spread like watercolor paint. It won't sting your eyes at all, but looks gross when the whites of your eyes flood grey. Just dab it out with a q-tip. Instead, keep your eyes very dry. Wipe with toner, then apply eye cream, foundation, and a matte powder. This creates the perfect, dry, smooth surface for your eyeliner. You will have wonderfully crisp, jet black lines. Easy to fill between your eyelashes and create designs. So lovely! If you have slightly oily skin, or leave it bare, this product will not look as nice. Drawing it on unprepped skin gives it a harsh, crude look. The edges of the lines might look jagged or crooked. At minimum, apply a tinted primer. I will buy this product forever. If the company threatens to go under, I'll buy enough of their remaining stock to last until my senior citizen age. I cannot recommend this product enough! Remember, prep your eye area well!

Really does stay in all day. Definitely a great eyeliner to have in your makeup bag. Doesn’t smudge or create racoon eyes even with oily eyelids. Highly recommended

I was looking for a good eyeliner to replace the Tarte maneater liquid liner that has been discontinued. This one almost fit the bill. I really like it, but not quite perfect for me. It somehow seems dryer even though it goes on wet. I have to shake the pen slightly before doing my 2nd eye. It stays all day, but does become slightly flaky by night. Not that I recommend sleeping in makeup, but if you do, it will be at least half flake off by morning. My maneater liner could stay put for days. This has traditional applicator vs the brush which I suspect is what makes it less wet on application. Pros: goes on easy, stays all day. Dries quickly after application, great black matte fine line color. Fantastic for fine line strokes Cons: formula or applicator a little dry, slightly flakes by evening. When applying need to gently shake to get applicator wet enough for broader strokes on one pass, or go over line a couple times.

This is by far the best eye liner out there! SO worth the price. I have "hooded eyes" which means you really can't see where this eyeliner is on top of the eye. With other brands, they would smudge or be visible on top of the eye, not where I put the eyeliner. Not this product! It stayed where it was the entire day. I will be buying more for sure!

This is my tried and true eyeliner. It’s a matte black finish with a felt tip. It gives you a little drying time but you kind of need to work semi fast with it. But I’ve repurchased this eyeliner so many times I’ve lost count. It’s not messy and super wet, if that makes sense? It comes out a little more dry. But I like it like that, it works with how I apply it. But I’ve tried a sooo many eyeliners and this is my fave.

I really like the way this eyeliner goes on and the tip allows for precise application. However, the dry time can take a bit and if you aren't patient, it will cause an upper eyelid mess and the need to reapply. Once it is dry and set, it stays put well and removes easy with liquid make up remover. I have some in the past that set up quickly and don't cause the mess of this one, but if you can wait the dry time, it is a nice eyeliner.

Recommended especially for beginners. Size is very convenient to use and quality is really good. It could be a little thin so you need to use a few times, but thin tip also gives you full control to achieve the shape you want.

This gives a medium line or finer line if using gently. Alternatively thicker lines if pressure is applied alongside. It is of a good texture, very easy to apply, tidy and of both a partial matt and glossed appearance. Stays on well and doesn't move. Is really easy to remove when required and if left on overnight through tiredness or forgetfulness, it doesn't look too shabby at all the next day, bedding is eyeliner free too. The cap is easy to remove when needed and fits snugly when not. A nice quantity of product supplied and the colour is bold but not bright making it ideal for day and night. A striking look can still be achieved with a little pressure thus giving thicker strokes and a bolder look. For comparison in appearance a fresh tattoo is relatively of the same hue without pressure being applied. This eyeliner saves much time and mess!

Super crisp line that last all day! Easy to make sharp wings.
