These are affordable tools which can be used for a number of odd tasks. However, they are definitely not food safe, for anyone wondering, and the scribe tool is not the right design for working with fondant or royal icing. They can be a bit clumsy because they are large and lightweight but they are still handleable. I have sanitized them in different mixes several times without experiencing rust or deterioration thus far. I purchased the set to use in beekeeping for pulling larvae and pupae during inspections but they easily have many more uses so I have placed additional orders.

Cheap pick set. After two full weeks of work, the picks have not dislodged from their handles. After some work in dilute phosphoric acid, however, they have started to discolor and the coating has started to peel. Not fatal unless contamination is a concern for you.

I got these with the intention of scribing the panel lines on a model kit. These are way too big to do that, so be forewarned.

With a little filing, they're just as good or better than the more expensive brands. File the inner side of the hook to make it flat and it will lift the plastic instead of pushing it aside which usually requires sanding afterwards.

I picked these up to clear out grooves in 3D prints. The steel is pretty soft and bends easily.The finish has also started to come off.

Work as expected, but tips are glued in so need to use as they are. I prefer being able to unthread the tips and set up one with my 2 most useful tips

I wanted the picks to remove o-rings from my scuba gear. They were too long for the case that I carry all the other save-a-dive bits and pieces I take with me on dive trips. They were easy to cut in half and are now the perfect length for travel. I know this is an extra step but now I have four versions and they are all really sharp and will work well when I need them.

I use these to get O-rings off my paintball gun. They work great no complaints
